Sorry, no offense, but I've simply lost interest in MCI with biased judges, dramebaaz contestants, & selective editing!
LOL.. Yes there is more than simple 'how is the taste' to the Masterchef contest. I remember writing this before about Kandha ji in Season 1 - a 45+ year old. She lost as that day the task involved making huge quantity of food (for an airlines or something) and had so much running around plus the contestants had to push a huge trolley full of food and reach by a particular time. The poor lady just could not push the trolley and reach on time while another guy ran past her. Masterchef is not a strength test and so there was no reason that someone couldn't have helped this lady push a damn trolley. But that is Masterchef.
And even in this MCI, there is more than just taste. Think of what the prize is and what the winners will get. That will also reflect on who will get selected to top 3. In the end, the chefs do not want to lose face. MCI is like life. Do not consider it to be fair and idealistic.
