Akshay's Thuppakki remake to clash with Salman's Mental?

There is buzz in the industry that Akshay Kumar and director A.R. Murugaddoss are keen on releasing their upcoming film, the remake of Tamil blockbuster Thuppakki, during the Republic day weekend next year.

Not too long ago, there were reports of Sohail Khan also eyeing the same weekend for the theatrical release ofSalman Khan's Mental.

With production houses booking holiday weekends a year or more in advance, we wouldn't be surprised if the makers of Thuppakki announce the release date first.

Are we in for yet another clash? This time Akshay vs Salman? Stay tuned to Indicine. The official announcement is likely to be made soon!

How could this happen... don't u know guys Salman is scared of competition... Salman will run away like scared kid... as his films are not working on BO 😆

So now Mental will come Jan 26, 2015... i am sure of it... waise bhi FLOP honi hai... it should come in 2015 only 😆

Has Akki lost his mind or what? First, OUATIMA is clashing with CE and now this with Mental? Both movies may do well, but it's not a good strategy to release them against massive movies.

Regardless, I think Mental won't do well at the BO. I think it will be amongst Salman's worst movies ever. It looks so bland. Hopefully, Kick is a good entertainer.

Why does it bother? Still annoyed at OUATIMA trailer 😆 Since no Hashmi in there?
