Nice Post. Though I respect your views I differ. In a marital relationship both the partners need to respect and value the opinions of the other to make their marriage work, at times compromising their personal equations. Here RK hates sultan's proximity with madhu and he made it clear to madhu too. If madhu is willingly marrying RK with his insecurities she is bound to make certain compromises on her part to make her marriage work. Coming to sultan, madhu never called him as a friend in distress But she is obiliged to him for coming to party n taking RK's insult and it was sultan who pressurised madhu to confide and not madhu herself. No where I have seen Madhu seeking Sultan's comfort and friendship though he is ready to...madhu did bare her heart out to sultan on the party night as he is powerless to judge or control her actions unlike padmini. I think madhu never felt sultan as a comfort pillow except as a attentive ear. No offense to any one this is what i felt
