I was not interested to do Bombay Talkies

In an interview to Filmfare, Kajol talks about her comeback plans in Bollywood. She mentions that she needs to completely believe in a film before committing to it. Else, should would rather spend the time with her kids and husband, she adds.

When asked about Bombay Talkies, she admits that Karan approached her for it, first. However, she refused to do it. She says she didn't want to do the film as she was not interested in going 'that direction'.

Well, hopefully, something good catches her eye and we get to see the versatile actress back on screen, soon.
