Oh dang what a cliff hanger. Lets see what Arnav does because Khushi never told him that. That is kind of scary. Arnav would sure be mad.

After the last chapter I decided to take a hiatus from I-F to get some perspective on where to from here.

1. To the regular readers of my story who interact with me:

I engage with you frequently because you are more than 'readers'; you are the people who have become the backbone of this story and the reason why I write. You make time for me and share your precious thoughts with me.

I thank you for respecting my work and my time and appreciating it.

You drive me and encourage me continuously and for that I can never thank you enough.

When I posted the note at the end of the last chapter, I knew that my sentiments would upset you the most because you don't deserve it.

2. To the silent readers:

To you I will say: it's about time you broke your silence.

A warm welcome to you. I hope you will join category 1 above and not 2.

In response to the comments, I'll be brutally honest here - readership and comments matter to me. I have never hidden that fact and it remains true today. Other writers may say it makes no difference to them.

I am not in that category - I love hearing people's opinions on my work and I love engaging with readers on aspects of the story whether they love it or hate it.

I greedily relish every comment and every PM.

It will continue because of those readers who have stood by me. They are special to me. I respect them. I will stand by them as they have stood by me. More importantly, they don't deserve to deal with my annoyance because of those who simply can't be bothered.

Finally, I understand that this note will offend some people. Like the values portrayed by the characters in my story, honesty is integral to me and that's why I made the decision to be sincere and straightforward with you on how I feel.

Naina, I am so so happy you have decided to continue with this story! I have actually read this story from the beginning several times because I just love the progression of the story and the characterization!
