Deleting posts

I think the person who starts the topic (original post) should be allowed to delete any post, he/she does not feel is appropriate. I have read a few posts where it was started with good intention, and some basher has decided to comment on it.

Yes I find it very weird that there's no delete button on this site.

but that will delete other members post too, who have commented on that topic...so its like ur giving the topic starter the right to delete other members' post...which they might have spent some time on... thats not right either...

I wrote this post because I read Miss HumptyDumpty post and there was a basher on it, it really made me angry.

^ oh sorry, u meant any post on their topic...but i thought u meant, they should be allowed to delete their own topic all together, thats why i said if they delete their whole topic, they will delete all the other posts too...but now i read it again and figured u meant, they should be allowed to delete the bashing ones...that i agree with, but what happens is, sometimes its not bashing but constructive criticism, and the topic starter may be biased...and might delete good posts they dont agree with...hence taking away the right for members to post their opinion...

sorry, i have been a viewbie myself long back...so i had to learn how to be "fair" in this forum...giving everyone an equal chance to post what they like, thats why i mentioned all that 😆...having said that, i personally do agree with u though...

u can erase ur post. but delete option not available
