Since the mods are on vacation and RK pankhis have decided to use that opportunity to overrun this forum with thread spewing venom on Sultan, I thought I'd introduce a much needed corrective.

If your pea size brains cannot digest the fact that a woman has the right to move away from an abusive man (not to fall into the arms of someone else) then I feel sorry for you.

Maybe the men you've encountered in your lives make RK seem like such a catch and prize but some of us have been lucky to be around men who are gorgeous, considerate, respectful and treat women as independent entities with minds of their own. They don't violate a woman's self of self and space.

Perhaps if only you widen your horizons, you'd see RK for the self-obsessed asshole he really is. But that's probably asking for too much from those with limited understanding and wisdom.

If indeed Gauti the misogynist creep shows Madhu falling for RK once again, it really means zilch because Stockholm syndrome does not a grand romance make. Falling for an abusive man is not love, it's anything but love. If you think this is love, again - so so sorry for you.

Look, if you want to fangirl over Vivian and follow him from show to show, it's totally fine. Do your thing - but don't write epics on how awesome RK is because you're just disrespecting yourself and your gender.

Loved your post 👏. The parts in bold especially. Many people probably won't believe me, but I never much cared for RK. See his character type is very typical. I know him. He was in Gossip Girl, aka Chuck Bass, and all the other Chuck Basses of the world. Childhood pain = uncaring asshole. So wonderfully complex and downright frightening in his lack of empathy. Beautiful right? Umm, Not.

RK is so simple in his "complexity". I was originally taken aback by his character and watched because like everyone else, this twisted "romance" had me slightly hooked. I stopped watching as right after the pooja track though. Characters like him loose all appeal once they're redeemed, because he is nothing but his horrible nature. He is his one-liners and pain. He has no hidden depths that would make one love him. Just a bunch of tricks and triggers that will keep one hooked. What was originally unpredictable, now is predictable beyond belief. He's a petulant child who is incapable of loving someone through emotions of trust and caring. He will always be more fascinated by Madhu's tears than apologetic or worried. His brand of love will always include force. As for Stockholm Syndrome, yes yes and yes.

Nice Post,
Month ago, I wrote a post on Stockholm syndrome , No one here wants to know such things, they just want silly romance, this girls here might be intelligent but they have decided to act immature and they are proud of it.

Many people tried to make them understand but it is of no use.

@bold, nope. I believe you. There are a few of us here that never cared for RK. I had no interest in watching another sadist, abusive love story passing off as "romance." Again and again what I saw, and what what I read just put me off. But lo and behold, I later realize that the makers are showing him for exactly what he is. 😆 Some just want to keep believing this is a love story.

Heheheheh. The writers and CVs are not ruining or haven't ruined any great love story. Naa, it was an abusive, sadist relationship from the start. All the CVs did was show RK's "love" for what it is, and this "love story" for what it is. But some people still don't get it.

CVS have butchered Madhubala's character. 😭 I really don't get why would they themselves ruin their male lead character totally & then butcher female lead's character? 😡 I can't enjoy them romancing now because of all this.

They never ruined the male lead character. They are staying true to it.

Female lead's character, I agree they could show and develop her better. I never had an issue with her falling for RK again. It just needed to be shown and developed better. I think they did a good job in showing his emotional manipulation in the Saturday episode where he showed her house and his bruised hand. But where they faltered was not following up on that well enough. Madhu's being right there, seeing RK threaten her mother. That doesn't gel. That should have given her warning bells considering the full situation and context.

Unfortunately, they never properly showed it.

However no matter what, they will continue showing RK for what he is. I have no doubt.

I use to think Rk and Madhu were cute, but that's about it. Never really found their love story 'intriguing'. I respect Vivian for his portrayal of RK's character, I think he does a splendid job, and that is why I dislike the character of RK! Rk really is nothing but a self-absorbed person. I mean has he really changed? People were wanting a 'proper' redemption when he dumped Madhu. Has he really redeemed himself? The so called 'haldi challenge' . What was that? He basically implied to Madhu that don't ever try to challenge me because you know I will always win and I have always won...
You're right I just don't understand why people sing praises of Rk after all that he's done, and spew nothing but negative comments towards Sultan when clearly he's above all of this...
