This whole uproar about her skirt! The scene hasn't even aired yet so we have no clue the complete context in which she was walking around in an uber short skirt. It's not like her character so there must have been a reason.
Zoya has never been a disrespectful girl and having been ridiculed before for her dressing by Asad, Haseena and that other lady at the function at home and Razia at Ayaan's engagement, she has never worn her modern clothes in a way that made her look disregardful.
I'm not even going to drag anything religious into this because when I saw the segment, I thought the skirt was kinda' too short as well but if I've learnt anything from this show it's not how you look on the outside that matters but what's on the inside ( in your heart). It's a lesson that Asad himself will learn when this whole Tanveer fiasco comes out.
This whole thing could be adding to that to show how Asad sees things in his own life. Comparing Zoya to how traditional Muslim girls dress (Tanveer). So that when the truth comes out he realizes how judgmental he is and that maybe his thoughts on Tezeeb and tameez ( sorry if spelled wrong) aren't ideal.
That said, can we just wait until the actual episode airs to pass judgement on the CVs decision to put Zoya in such a tiny skirt.
