Kumud said what Saras did was fine but she could have stopped herself from getting closer...

Now, the point here is that why always the girl has to be careful..?? Just because she is a girl..?? Just because she can attain pregnancy..???

Why cant a man remain careful before meeting a girl...?? Why cant he decide in his mind that no matter what...he will not touch or arouse the desire of having s** with the girl...??

Just because he is a man..??

Why the hell this "maryada" thing is attached only to the girls..??

Both are equally responsible for what had happened between them.

Girls are usually blamed because they may attain pregnancy (as you mentioned) and boys can escape. Also girls are considered as the pride of their families most of the time.

I am not well aware of how things are in India, but I think for a girl who has committed all such things in a relationship may find difficult to get a husband as well.

It is actually the thinking of people, they need to change how they believe, but making love before marriage is something that I am totally against of.

Girls have to behave within limits and boys are free...

In India, punishment is for the victim(girls), NOT for the one who are wrong(men)🤢

We cannot change .Always girls has to be very careful.

well i feel we live in a society where things r preached desined and formulated according to men...i hate it but this is how it is...now things r changing but it will take long enough

but here i think kumuds line had too deep meaning ...right from stone age men being strong always made first move and it was always on woman to resiprocate or refrain...thats why she said purusho ko moh ka shaap hai...

plus its woamn who make family be it any country ..family starts with woman...so does its values ...may be thats why another line was...aur naari ko maryada ka vardaan ...coz its the woman starts the family and so keeping up the family value system are implied on her

but then if the woman decides to have a man then by no means it is wrong that she gives in for love making ...thats what is love

Changes can be made provided the society is ready to accept them..

Earlier, girls were not allowed to even step out of the house. But, today...we can see the change..

It takes decades and decades...

I hope one day will come when men will be blamed for all the deeds and not the girls...
