Dear Bvians,

Its time to get reminder about the rules of ATs...

Every AT has its own rules. So apart from the rules mentioned down here, you are supposed to follow the rules of your respective AT also.

If any rule of your AT is contradicting to the rules given down, understand the rules given here super seed the rules in the specific AT... means the rule mentioned here has to be followed.

These are the rules already existing and this is just a reminder explaining with more clarity for your benefit.

Appreciation Thread - AT discussion should be kept to who the AT are for, refrain from talking about other characters, refrain from talking about matters occuring on the main forum and any comparisons. Idle chatter is not allowed, 1-2 pages is allowed at times but should be refrained from where possible. Refer to respective AT's rules for posting

Mapping/Explanation:

1. one-two pages of chat is allowed so under that context, JDJ discussion is also allowed in the ATs. Then why the Stickky you may ask. There are lot many forum members who does not belong to any of these ATs and still want to discuss Sid in JDJ. That is why this Sticky is created.

That does not disqualify the AT members from not discussing in JDJ thread. It is open for the members to discuss either in AT(1 or 2 pages) or in JDJ thread.

2. We observed re-quoting is happening more than 3 times. Please do not re-quote more than 3 times.

3. Discussion on other characters/actors related to the context of the AT characters/actors situation is allowed as long as it does not exceed 1 to 2 pages in one stretch. We know that when you are talking about a scene, you cannot avoid mentioning others who are part of it.

At the same time, discussing extensively on other characters in another AT should be avoided. If you want to discuss about other characters and story line, you always have an option to discuss that in the Episode Discussion thread.

The past few weeks have been quite frustrating for some with a fair amount of big changes in BV. This has clearly impacted our forum in a negative way. While you are free to vent out your frustration, kindly keep the following in mind:

A negative opinion does not mean bashing. If someone states that Toral's expressions are wooden or Shashank can't act - it is not bashing given it is done without mocking or instigation. Everyone is entitled towards their own opinion just as you are. You cannot go 360 on a member just because their POV is different than yours. Learn how to have a healthy discussion without being at each others throat. You don't like the post? Simply walk away. If it violates the section rules, report it. It's as simple as that. Every day the BV DT closes good discussion topics because they end up turning into war zones.
Stop passing side remarks against other fan bases. You cannot attack someone just because they are fans of a certain individual. Furthermore, please stop the moral policing. Instead of telling what others should do, perhaps reflect on your own behaviour or of your peers. Tell yourself or your friends to open positive discussion posts on the forum to bring some light! Any posts found bashing or repetitively instigating will see a WL raise. There is no tolerance for attacks on any forum member no matter what fan group you belong too.
Likewise, please avoid name calling. Calling Toral despo is not cool. If you wish to use civil names to describe characters, that is fine. However, name calling to mock, instigate and bash cast and crew will not be tolerated. If you are found violating this rule, your warning level will be increased.

If you have any concerns, feel free to approach us. Please use the report button when you come across a violating post rather than retorting back.

My question is... if it repeats every 4-5 pages? Like chatting 1-2 pages every 4-5 pages? And then also if they are talking about scenes that has nothing to do with object of appreciation?

I hope you understand we need to clear this coz there are many peeps (93 i think) dedicated to reading and waiting for this answer. Thanks a lot!😃

This 1 to 2 pages or 3 pages or 5 pages is a notional proposition. Basically what we are saying is it is quiet possible that we tend to discuss other characters and restricting ourselves not talk on any thing other than the AT personality is indeed tough.

So understanding the subjectivity of the context, we are advising people to be carefull enough not to discuss some other topic as prime topic. As long as the AT personalities or their story is on primary focus, the other characters etc can be mentioned.

We are saying ATs should focus on the actors/characters they are set up for with certain free hand in discussing other points in connection or association of the AT personality.

Its not that you measure how many pages a discussion has gone or how many times they mention/did not mention the AT personality etc... More than that , because any discussions are qualitative and not quantitative, we are asking AT members to be diligent enough on what they are discussing.

Just to check if I understand correctly... For example my AT is dedicates to X and Y but more than 70% of time I am discussing about W and Z, and some other things although they have nothing to do with X and Y itself...and it is not against the rules?

Also if forum members think that something might be an object of report they still have a right to do it or the fact that these rules are repeated here today is directed to one members group so they can take their actions back and in the same time to protect another members group?
