Love the update. Getting locked in a same room was quite interesting if only they love each other than it would have been romantic but nevertheless Arnav with his vest was worth drooling . I hope the fake engagement would turn into real soon.

Chapter 15

A sound of a door knob made a slight creaking sound and someone opened the conference room. Payal, Akash and a few employees entered and were shocked by the sight that befell before them.

Arnav and Khushi sleeping together on the recliner chair. Payal looked at Akash and vice versa. Akash hesitantly called his brother.

"Bhai"

Arnav was stirred by the hubbub and began slowly opening his eyes. He looked worried seeing the employees and then looked back at Khushi resting near him. He nudged her slightly.

"Khushi...get up!"

Khushi looked at Arnav with her wide eyes and then quickly looked at the peering eyes. She suddenly got up and fixed her hair.

"Payal! I'm going home to change...I will be back in an hour or two...make sure the party preparations for our new clients are all finished..I don't want any mistakes, understand?" she sounded edgy but covered it by her no nonsense attitude.

Arnav smirked a little and began putting his shirt back on. Khushi gave one final look at Arnav and walked off. The employees began sniggering and speaking slowly.

Arnav came back home to have a shower and rest for a little while. He had a smile on his face.

"Chotey what is the reason for this sweet smile?" teased Anjali.

"Nothing...just having a good day Di..anyways how are you?"

"I'm good..and will be even better if you got married"

He rolled his eyes.

"Rani Saiba why you always going on at saale saab...he will marry when the time is right..isn't it saale saab?"

Arnav smiled.

"Shyam ji he is not getting younger is he? I want to see my little cute nieces and nephews"

"Di walk before you run! Anyways I'm a little tired please send me some breakfast in 20 minutes please?"

She nodded her head and he walked off to his bedroom.

Shyam looked on not liking his brother in law looking so happy.

Anjali went into her nani's room and sat down next to her while she was knitting away.

"Nani do you think chotey will listen to us regarding marrying Khushi ji..what if he marries someone he loves then he will leave us won't he?"

Nani put her knitting needles down and cupped Anjali's face.

"Beti don't worry he will end up marrying Khushi..I got a really good feeling...we have to make sure we get him married to her..think of her wealth and most importantly she will be a wife everyone loves to hate..and our chotey will remain close to us...just be patient"

Anjali looked unconvinced but decided to believe her nani. She had no choice.

Walking out of his shower Arnav shook his wet hair. He began thinking of his Chamkili spending the night with him without knowing he is her Nannav. He smiled remembering her feeling uneasy around him.

"Chamkili...I know how I feel about you but somehow I need to find out if you feel the same way about me..or have you forgotten me? I know you have changed but I still have feelings for you regardless of your temper...this engagement will either bring us close or break us apart..."

He smiled and went over to his blazer. He took out a diamonte stud she was wearing. He looked at it with love and put it back again.

In the Gupta household Khushi came in a foul mood. She knew her being caught with Raizada will make many a tongues to start wagging.

"Ma! Tell the bhai to send me a coffee I got a splitting headache!" she said charging up the stairs.

As she flung her phone on her bed she began taking her heels off. She went beside her mirror and took her stud out. Then she touched her left ear and found it was missing.

"Where has it gone? Must have fallen out"

She went into the shower with thoughts of Arnav pre occupying her. The more she thought about him the more she began getting edgy. She felt she was betraying her Nannav but what could she do. She just was buying time till she found her childhood sweetheart. In her mind she was justifying why she agreed to have a fake engagement.

Coming out of the shower she dressed casually. She knew she had to dress for the party she was going to hold tonight.

Payal walked in the venue of the party she had organised. Akash looked towards her direction and presented her with a rose.

"Arz kiya hain...kya khoob lagti ho bari sundar lagti ho..."(I am stating you look very nice and very pretty)

Payal lightly hit him with the rose.

"Stop your bollywood songs!"

"Ummmhh Akash who is that guy?" asked Payal curiously.

"Oh him! NK! Come here!"

"Hi" he said in an American accent.

"Payal this NK my cousin...NK this is Payal..ummhhh"

"I understand she is your Ajooba isn't it?" he teasingly said.

"Ajooba nahin NK mehbooba"(Not wonder my Beloved)

"Oh sorry same" he scratched his head. Arnav walked in impressed with the arrangements.

"Good job Payal" Payal looked flattered.

"Oh my Goddd who is that beauty..."

Arnav looked back and it was Khushi dressed in a red sari. She looked surreal. Arnav looked at her lost.

NK rushed to greet Khushi. He got her hand and kissed it.

"You madam are looking beautiful"

Akash and Payal looked on frightened.

"NK is minced meat tonight" said Akash.

Khushi first looked at him angrily and then looked at jealous Arnav's face. She smiled at NK and began talking.

"And you are?"

"NK.."

"Ms Gupta he is our cousin" said Akash trying to pull him away from her. Arnav gritted his teeth.

As she walked off she heard someone singing she looked back.

He followed Khushi and took her hand and began dancing. Khushi felt awkward but was enjoying annoying Mr Arnav Singh Raizada.

Gununati hui ek nadi mil gayi, ajnabi shehr main dosti mil gayi, tum mile kya muje zindagi mil gayi(I found a humming stream, in a stranger town I found friendship, as soon as I found you I found my life)

Arnav looked on annoyed and clenched his fist and turned to have a glass of champagne.

After gulping it down in jealousy he put the glass down and began singing. NK and Khushi looked towards Arnav.

Arnav: shyaro ko ke liye shayri mil gayi, raat ke shehr ko chandini mil gayi, tum mile kya muje zindagi mil gayi(A poet found his poetry, a night found its moonlight, when I found you I found my life)

Khushi was pulled by NK and he began forcefully dancing with her. Akash came near to Arnav and he put his hand on his shoulder. He twirled Khushi around. Arnav looked on sadly.

Arnav:Har taraf tum nazar arahe ho muje, dur hoon paas apne bula lo muje(Everywhere I see you, I am so far away from you call me close)

NK came and tried to woo Khushi.

NK: Main mohobhat hoon dil main chupa lo muje, aaj apne gale laga lo muje, dosti mil gayi(I am love hide me in your heart, today embrace me, I found friendship)

Arnav smiled and sang.

Arnav: Shyari mil gayi(Found my poetry)

Painfully Arnav witnessed NK touching and coming close to Khushi. NK began serenading Khushi with compliments.

NK: Main ye kehta hoon khawbon ki jannat ho tum(I am saying that you are the paradise of dreams)

She laughed and walked off while Arnav began his compliments. She looked impressed.

Arnav: Khawab toh khawab hain ek haqiqat ho tum(Dreams are dreams you are a reality)

NK pushed in and further complimented her.

NK: Haa dil mohobhat ka mandir hain murat ho tum(The heart is like a temple and you are the idol)

Arnav looked into her eyes and said it sincerely and she seemed touched for a second.

Iss zamee pe khuda ki annayat ho tum(You are God's grace in this world)

Khushi looked at NK and giggled.

NK: Bandagi mil gayi(I found my prayer)

Then looked at Arnav who seemed content with his love.

Arnav:Har Khushi mil gayi hain...tum mile kya muje zindagi mil gayi...(I found my happiness..when I found you...)

Everyone clapped and Khushi began introducing her employees to their clients. After about an hour or so Khushi asked for a mike.

"Ladies and gentlemen...please enjoy the food and drink...but before this night ends I would like to share something with you all...Arnav please come here" she said sweetly.

The media cameras began clicking madly and Arnav came towards her not knowing why she was calling. He came and stood looking towards her. She smiled at him and he scrunched his eyes.

"I would like to announce that Mr Arnav Singh Raizada and I Khushi Kumari Gupta will be getting engaged soon!"

The media and people began talking and she took his hand and squeezed it. He looked at her and the people around him, not really believing what he was hearing.

"Khushi!" he said questioning her.

She placed her finger on his lips.

*Rabba Vey*

"Arnav we will discuss dates later" she said trying to stop him.

Akash and Payal clapped their hands in disbelief.

"Akash you could have told me bro that I was flirting with my bhabi" NK said disappointed.

"NK when did you give us a chance!? I'm so happy! Wait let me ring Di and Nani.." Akash took his mobile out and rang his family.

Meanwhile Arnav Khushi posed for the cameras, sometimes holding hands.
