Life of a Borisagar Bahu - Trailor

Today Umaben showed her cunning ... she smartly illustrated to Chhanchhan's horrified parents what life as a Borisagar bahu would be like for their free-spirited, modern thinking independent minded daughter ...

Pallu over head at all times
Not sitting with the guests, standing behind their husbands
Not allowed to work ... after all, what is the need to earn for herself?
No dogs allowed
Art ... and by extension, Chanchan's father's profession, and by further extension, CC's parents ... gets no respect.
Just for the last, CC should call off the wedding herself. 😡

I was wondering what Umaben was upto ... till the precap made it clear she did all deliberately ... but why? To make CC call off the wedding herself? I would think she would want to make sure that SHE called off the wedding, and insulted CC and her family fully while doing so.

And who is the person who is privy to UB's plans? Not her husband, for sure.

While the pallu stuff and work stuff was planned , I don't think what she said to the children was...

She really wants to pull the strings and call off the marriage herself... else she only had to ask for dowry and the CC family would have run away!

Exactly! She purposely set aside the one condition which she knew Chhanchhan would not agree to ... she wants to have the pleasure of insulting Chhanchhan in public and calling off the wedding herself ...

Or rather, I think her plan is to have Manav call it off ... and then play the suffering martyr mother who was ready to go against her own wishes to fulfill the wishes of her son, even though she never thought CC was the right choice for Manav.

Gosh, just caught up with only half of that cause i cudnt sit through the whole thing. How will the Dad agree to this? Although I hv to admit, it was this thing that drew me to the show - curiosity as to how they wud show her fit in. But I cudnt survive the trailer, just run CC!!! The BS family/household with UB at the helm is just too stifling. Sigh...

I know!!! I think they have made Umaben TOO evil!!! There needs to be a balancing influence brought in ... none of her sons are able to do anything at all ... and so far, they have not showed her husband very much ... he has been missing in all the crucial scenes. Chanchan has to have some support ... she can't be that much of a Wonderwoman ... and I have not much faith in Manav at all 😕

The problem also is that the Manav-Chanchan love story is so tepid, Manav doesn't actually seem worth the trouble Chanchan will have to go through!!! 😆

CC's father has his own concerns right from d beginning! UB is very very cunning! How smartly she made dem realize dat CC wud b a complete misfit in her family! I just wanted to kill her when she insulted CC's dad indirectly 😡
Even I m curious to know who is her co-conspirator!
