December 18

Mamta apologizes to Karan on Parmeshwari bua's insistence so that there is peace in the house. Karan convinces Parmeshwari that he's not happy with Shaina and therefore wants a divorce. Parmeshwari bua, blinded by his love supports him fully, while Mamta tells Shains that she'll do her best to get Shaina and Karan together.

Dec 19

Karan throws Shaina out of their room; the whole family is very upset with this behavior, but Parmeshwari supports him. Parmeshwari finds out that Prachee is Karan and Shaina's daughter, but adopted. Parmeshwari tells Karan that now he has no reason to stay married to Shaina. Karan gives Shaina divorce papers in bua's presence, Mamta is stunned.
