Will Sid and Parineeti have a liplock in HTP?

Makers of Parineeti Chopra and Sidharth Malhotra's next are in a fix over whether their film should have a steamy scene

Since the film is a light-hearted romantic comedy, including a kissing scene shouldn't be troublesome.

The fresh pairing of Sidharth Malhotra and Parineeti Chopra in their upcoming film, Hasee Toh Phasee (HTP), has already created some buzz in the industry. But the makers of their film are currently in a bit of a spot. They can't seem to decide whether they should, and if at all, how they should include a kissing scene in the movie.

Incidentally, both Sidharth and Parineeti have previously locked lips with their co-stars in Student Of The Year and Ishaqzaade (both 2012), respectively. So unlike most situations, it isn't the actor who are hesitant about shooting the intimate scene this time.

An industry insider reveals, "Since the film is a light-hearted romantic comedy, including a kissing scene shouldn't be troublesome, but the makers are still dwelling over how to showcase it, in case it is included."

The insider adds that they are still uncertain about whether they want to make it a steamy scene or not. "The actors understand that these things are part of their job. Even when Sidharth found out about the makers' predicament, he completely left the decision in the hands of the director. He said he would comply with whatever they decided. The only thing the makers are worried about is that if the kissing scene is made to look steamy, it shouldn't drift away from the simple plot of the film," adds the source.

The co-production between Karan Johar and Phantom films is being directed by Vinil Mathew.

While Parineeti is currently busy shooting for HTP with Sidharth, he is juggling his time between two other projects — Mohit Suri's The Villain and another movie that will be helmed by choreographerdirector Remo D'Souza.

Ask him about the apparent kissing scene that may be included in this film and without revealing much, he says, "As an actor, I follow my director's vision. I am completely a director's actor."
