I got home yesterday and saw my mum watching RNBJ. It kind of made my think about why iv'e never seen any other movies with her apart from RNBJ and BBB

Not taking RNBJ into account .. but looking at the roles she played after Taani

Badmaash Company - I am a bindaas

BBB- I am a bindaas

LVRB - I am oh so sharp and bindaas

JTHJ - I am ... Yadaa yadaa yadaa 🥱

I mean, it's got to the extent where i see her pictures on a movie poster and i know EXACTLY what to expect. For two actresses who BOTH made a debut with one of the biggest stars in b-town look at where Deepika's career is and where Anushka is. More then a comparison this is just an observation. Her contemporaries seem light years ahead of her in their body of work ... be it Deepika who has played a Bollywood superstar in the 70's to a woman who is blind. Or Sonakshi who is doing something new with Lootera. It's sad to see that an actress who had potential being sucked in by the insecurities from bollywood and all it's glory. Isn't it obvious her issues with her weight, her surgery all seem like a desperate attempt to be on top of " the rat race" and how insecure she really is.

Oh baby, tera chakar chalaa jalebi !

Anushka is overrated. She bores me with her I am a bindass girl act.

huh. I never really liked Anushka...and to the question i answer no she hasnt shown any versatility...and now she has ruined herself big time

Actually...she palyes an ambitious girl in BBB..NO.Nonsesnse...where in JTJH she played this stupid spunky girl..and etc..but her body language and voice...makes it all look similar...same with Parineeti...she did two idfferent roles...this pataka musalli...and this bubbly teenager girl..but their voice and style makes it look same...

This is the prob with method actors...thy r not raw...so its hard to mould them...thy r good in whtevr thy do...but they r bein themselves more than the character..the only exceptions r Amir..and Kajol...

Otherwise..look at SrK...DEEpi...Ash..thy might not hv got an A* for acting...but they could mould into diff characters...this is one reason why i go for SRk not Amir...Katrina..not Anushka...Sidharth not Varun...Alia not Parineeti...
😊 all r raw in a good way..

But part of being an actor IS moulding yourself to different characters. The whole Anushka is a method actor is debatable. 😊

Besides more then anything it is her CHOICE of roles that are all very similar ... Comparing Kajol to Anushka would be an insult to Kajol : P But even so .. Kajol's choice of roles are so different and THAT makes her versatile

There is no versatility in Anushka Sharma. Same old bindaas girl routine with a little variation here and there, variation being that she mouths expletives in one film and she's also into sex and boyfriends in another film.

She had once said she'd like to be like Madhuri Dixit. I don't think she can even be Preity Zinta let alone MD the way she's been going.

I think in PK, she'll be another bindaas girl - with versatility being that she's also an alcoholic!

She was jumping around like crazy in MKBKM. Probably worst performance by an actress in a Vishal Bharadwaj film.

I don't understand how she keeps getting offers from prestigious filmmakers. She is not worth it. Either in looks or talent.

BBB is the only film where she was good. Even that's just a bindaas girl role.

I happened to watch RNBDJ song playing on TV the other day and thought how normal looking she was...she didn't have to ruin her face with that horrendous plastic surgery!

Deepika, Sonakshi are all ahead of her. Sonakshi was a docile girl in Dabangg, bindaas girl in SOS and RR, convincingly played a typical Indian wife and DIL in Dabangg 2 and seems to be doing different stuff in Lootera also. And Sona is admirable for being natural - be it her weight or her face. She's comfortable in her own skin.

Deepika is light years ahead in every single department. Anushka doesn't stand anywhere in comparison to her.

Anushka can only take solace in being ahead of Asin or Sonam.

Asin at least has had three 100 crore grossers (she was equally there in Ghajini, even if a flowerpot in others). Anushka, even when she entered 100 crore club she made it as a supporting heroine in an SRK-Kat film.

She better rethink her career and do something different in acting. Otherwise there are new actresses coming every year who look better and also act.

Anushka is a METHOD ACTOR?! How? Since when? 😲

She and her PR always keep proclaiming she's a natural and "instinctive" actor!

Calling her a method actor is an insult to actual method actors!
