I think Anupam will hear Shiv's confession for loving Ipshita as he was searching Shiv & promised Gauri that he will find Shiv.Also the camera was zoomed on Anupam when he saw Shiv going outside.
He will be heart-broken becoz he loves Ipshita but he will hide this secret from Gauri as Shiv is her happiness.
He will also feel guilty becoz he persuaded Gauri to marry when she ran away from the mandap seeing Shiv as the groom.
Then he will also get to know that until Shiv has no physical relationship with Gauri as a husband(already Guruji mentioned it to Nikhila), Gauri's life is not in danger. So he will try to make it sure to keep Shiv away from Gauri for atleast a year(as Shiv's wife is destined to be dead within a year of the marriage).
So he will try to be with Gauri most of the times making her occupied with some work with him since he is a poet at heart & Gauri is a good singer.Eventually he will fall in love with Gauri.
On this side,when Gauri will be away from Shiv due to her work, Shiv will realise her importance & will rediscover her love for Gauri. Also Ipshita will sense Shiv's drifted attention towards Gauri.She will turn negative & will try to separate Gauri from Shiv.
Gauri will somehow get to know about Anupam's feelings for her.She will question Anupam's "neeyat". Outraged by her allegations, Anupam will tell her the truth.
Then Gauri will be heart-broken & Anupam will console her.
Iske baad toh sabko pata hai ki jab do broken hearts milte hain toh kya hota hai. 😉
