Loved both the closure of the loops. Really glad to see how things should have been done. In the end the serial was a mess and just because of the actors it ran with no story! It was like driving a car without breaks, a runaway serial!!

Love your take on things and do continue.

Very simple...heartfelt and beautiful.

This was SO Arnav and Khushi. Yes, they never talked about Shyam and Arnav had almost forced her into marrying him again.. but he won her when he started understanding what she wanted...what is important for her..like when he started respecting the rituals?

I guess that's when he changed...and that's when Arnav had reached that stage when he would have done anything for her.

These one shots reminded me again of the beautiful couple and amazing story that we once loved and perhaps, will always love.

Beautiful way of closing the loops. And so true, this is how the remarriage should have happened, at its own pace and time, because Arnav would have wanted Khushi to have her dream wedding. Just for the two of them, vowing to be with each other for ever. Because this is what their love story deserved. A happy beginning.

Thank you for putting in words what my heart desired but the serial didn't fulfill. Its hasty and untimely closure left so many of my desires and wishes unrealized. Thank you, thank you, thank you...
Your writing style is simple, lucid and endearing...so refreshing!!

I'm a fail for not seeing this before. THANK YOU!

And this is a BRILLIANT idea. There are SO many loops that could be closed!

I've read both and will comment on them properly later. So think of this as a ridiculously late res.

FINALLY Un-res--

Loop 1--

You know, if they HAD to end like that, I really wish we could have had this one sequence at least. Just for closure. And so that we could all say "What goes around comes around."

Loop 2--

HELLO redemption! Yes Arnavji. You OUGHT to have done some serious damage control instead of ignoring the fact that you coerced her into this marriage!

Loop 3--

In the beginning I was like this:

*cue Kyun Dard Hai Itna playing in the background*

And then I was like this:

And then in Simla, I was all:

And then I was FINALLY:

And that, my friends, is how to give us a proper realization and redemption track in a few short letters.

This was brilliant, Ridz. And not just because you gave us this sensible, yet romantic tale of how Arnav finds out the truth, but also because you used the letter format.

And letters to his mother! Where do you get these ideas from? I loved it!

Khushi's letters were really poignant in the beginning, and very Khushi towards the end.

I liked how you used the letter in another way too, a vessel for the truth, as it were.

And a shaatir dimaag-waala Arnavji is back! He has Shyam investigated and hightails it to Shimla to woo back his love.

You did give me a minor shock there for a minute when Khushi wrote that she was going away, but I quickly read the next letter and heaved a sigh of relief when I read "Shimla".

Khushi could not resist him, could she? And yet , she made him work hard before giving in.

And we get a proposal on bended knee!

And the last letter from Arnav, kya bolun ab?

Joy, regret, and a hint of lingering pain...and finally, some peace for two tormented souls with the return of the bangles.

Another loop closed, another sigh of contentment from me.

The bangle aur letter wala loop!

I loved your approach, from maaji to maa. Her 1 letter deserved these replies! Letters are always 50 times more heartfelt than normal story-telling, and you did it so flawlessly!

I liked the progression of the story too..THANK YOU for no kidnapping trap! And the much needed "redemption" track.

I liked that the last letter was by him, such a nice conclusion.

Nailed it. Bas!!

Just read all the three updates. It's fantastic. Sure, the show left many loops untied. It's really nice of you to close them up with your fabulous writing :)
