Of course he is not here to be a star. Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani, Sawariya, Bachna Ae Haseeno, now YJHD are greatly demanding roles, with varied characterisation and are risky subjects. No actor has ever attempted such films.

Rockstar, Raajneeti, Barfi and Rocket Singh were so different from the league that they put actors like Naseer, Om Puri to shame making them think why they did not attempt such diverse films in their youth!

Ranbir is an artiste. Not a star.

Yes PR keeps plugging Khans in articles related to him. But blame the PR. It's not Ranbir saying all this.
