Since I am feeling a little depressed today I thought why not start a topic of real life funny stories that we experienced ourselves to share and cheer all us up😉? Here is one from me...
Once I was on vacation but was carrying a pager for my work as we were going through a major installation that weekend. I was asked to stay on call so that I can be notified and come to work and fix the problem. So I got paged one evening … it was summer and very hot … I took a shower and decided to go to work without drying my hair or dressing up as I safely assumed that no one will be at work this late in a weekend in my group😉.

So I left for work wearing a sleeveless blouse (usually I don't wear sleeveless at work ever😃…) and Capri cotton pants … very very casual and relaxed attire as you can see. After reaching my office … I eventually became engrossed in my work😉 as I found the issue and started fixing it … a couple of hours gone by … I did not have any clue … it was very intense because of the time pressure😃.

… All of sudden I noticed one of my colleagues …. a pretty big white guy 😆(I have known him as a very nice person 😃… ) was standing way too close to me😕… he said … "looks like you are totally stressed out "…. I had a big Jhatka but still managed to say … "I am OK now I found the bug" 😉….
That was not enough … then he came even closer and asked me very sweetly (that time I found it not sweet at all😡 … I thought I was living a nightmare or something…) … "would you like to have a kiss from me to cheer you up?"😕 🤢…

OMG you can't imagine how I felt … I was like Oh God what's going on … but what I did instead was very brave …. almost like an impulse …. I pushed him away very hard (trust me I am no match for him in strength 😆 .. I am only 5'5'' and 122 lbs and he was probably 6'2'' and 200+ lbs … or something like that😕…) and firmly said "No I would not " and got up from my chair … with totally burning red face😉.

He smiled again as if nothing had happened and opened his hand … and said "I thought you like chocolate when you are stressed out "…. and showed me one Hershey's kiss chocolate in his hand😆 ….

So you can imagine how I felt after seeing that poor little kiss all wrapped up in a silver linings… but it was not enough … after this showdown 3 of my other colleagues (including one girl from India) came out from hiding😆 … laughing and clapping hands and all the teasing you know. 😆

Apparently they were also paged as for some reason the person who paged me thought that I was not available so he paged others as backup😃 …. So all of them decided to pull that prank on me after seeing me in that state totally engrossed in my work😃 … dressed up that casually😉 … you got the point.

After that incident I came back home and as I was on vacation I did not go to work for a week. When I went back to work, the week after … I was very amused to see my entire office cubicle was filled with different color Hershey's kisses😉 😆… even pinned to side walls as well …. Then the tease went on for several days … other guys from other groups and departments I worked with also stopped by and asked me for a kiss😳 … and gave them with a smile😉… we had a lot of fun😆 …
..
Then some how our manager found out and asked the secretary to come and clean my cube. By the way, I got a lot of praise from my colleagues … they thought the way I said "No I would not" was so firm and seemed like I say that every now and then …. I just laughed as I did not remember saying that at all …. I was so shocked🤢.

Later when I met this colleague's girl friend … she told me that he was lucky that I was the girl … any other girl could have freaked out and got him into a big trouble … you see there is a fine line between fun and sexual harassment in working places these days.😆😉

I still remember the incident when I see Hershey's kisses chocolates ... and yes I love chocolates ... specially when I am stressed out 😉.😆..
