"ENOUGHH!" Lavanya almost dropped her phone down hearing his roaring tone from other end. If it was another day, she would have immediately backed off. 'But not today' She thought as she too was equally angry. "Lavanya, two days back when the news came out, you said that you trust me on this matter but suddenly what happened to you today?" She heard Arnav's voice questioning her angrily.

"Because two days back, I trusted your words Arnav. I believed that you will not scoop so low like using your employee for physical needs. But today when Kushi confirmed it, I couldn't stop myself from believing it." Lavanya retorted furiously. "Who?" Arnav asked in irritation not catching the name. "Kushi Kumari Gupta! Sheetal's lawyer." Lavanya answered him.

"Great! You won't believe my words but will believe some random, third person words." Arnav spoke in sarcastic tone. "She is not some random third person, Arnav. I knew Kushi for years. She never lies and if she takes a case against you, then it means only one thing; you are guilty!" Arnav gripped steering wheel tightly as lavanya's every offensive word stabbed him.

Controlling his infuriating fury, Arnav spoke gritting his teeth. "You know what, Lavanya? I am actually glad that this fiasco happened! Or else I would have been tied down with cynical women like you for rest of my life. I am calling off our wedding." He stressed each and every syllable of his last sentence before ending the call.

"And who wants to marry bas**** like you? Go to the hell!" Lavanya yelled looking at her mobile before throwing it on other side of her bed. She looked here and there in anger and then drank the fresh orange juice in single gulp cursing her ex-fiance under her breath.

"Jesus!" Kushi sat on her desk tightly clutching her small gold cross-shaped pendant hanging from thin gold chain around her neck. Her mother's chain along with cross pendant always gave her the strength she needed and guided her in right path. Today she had committed her first mistake in her five years judicial service. She had stood supported injustice.

When Sheetal came to her with tears saying that her rich boss had ra*** her, Kushi believed it. It was a common thing to do for rich men. She had seen three similar cases in her five years of experience. Today morning she held press conference in their woman welfare organisation announcing that she will be handling this case and will make sure that Raizada gets sued.

After conference, she heard part of conversation of Sheetal with someone on phone which made her suspicious. She asked her assistant, payal, to follow Sheetal. And just few minutes before, payal had confirmed her suspicion. Sheetal was lying and Arnav Singh Raizada was innocent. Though Kushi denied believing that he was clean as no rich men were not, still he was innocent in this case.

She had to rectify her mistake. She will make another press conference and will apologize to media and to him. But before that she had to talk with someone else. She dialled some number. After trying four times, Kushi murmured. "lavanyaji, why are you not picking up the phone?"

Arnav checked his mobile leaning on bonnet of his car. It has been two hours and still Lavanya didn't call him. Lavanya was his mother's choice. He never thought that he will agree to arranged marriage until he met Lavanya. He thought she complemented him in every way but today she proved him wrong. Heaving a sigh, he dialled her number which was answered by unfamiliar voice after long rings. "Aunty, i want to speak to Lavanya...what?...no, no, aunty, don't disturb her if she is sleeping...aunty...what happened? Aunty?"

All servants in kashyap mansion ran to their Choti madam's room as their Badi madam shouted for her daughter to wake up. Lavanya was lying on bed in unconscious state. As everyone got busy to wake their employer, they didn't notice one of the servant entered room without panic and swapped empty juice glass with an empty poison bottle and walked out dreaming about the big money, he is going to get for the work he had done.

As soon as Arnav got down from his car, he was surrounded by group of reporters. "Is it truth that your fiance had committed suicide because of your betrayal?" Arnav ignored the first question and walked to the hospital entrance with help of his body guard wondering how come news had reached them even before he could reach hospital. It looked like they already knew about it.

His thoughts were disturbed with particular question. "Miss. Gupta had promised that she will sue you for sure! What do you think about it, sir?" Arnav stopped and turned. "Who?" he questioned the reporter. "Miss. Kushi Kumari Gupta." Arnav glared at the reporter before walking in. "what happened aunty?" he kneeled in front of Lavanya's crying mother.

"i dont know, beta! She was fine in morning. I heard her phone ringing and went to her room. She was lying..." Arnav soothed her as she broke down. He watched Lavanya through glass doors not able to believe that Lavanya did such a cowardly act.

He was leaning on wall thinking about events happened today when a phone in his hand buzzed. It was lavanya's phone. Her mother had handed it to him while weeping. Without checking caller name, he attended it planning to request them to call later, when the doctor came outside. He watched as doctor said something to lavanya's mom making her weep more.

Arnav looked at doctor intently as doctor shook his head. He gripped the phone tighter when he heard some noise from phone. He placed phone near to his ear. "lavanyji, are you there? i was telling you that your fianc is innocent. That Sheetal was lying..." Arnav took a deep breath and asked in deep voice. "Who is this?"

It seemed like person on other end was shocked hearing male voice. "me?..i am Kushi Kumari Gupta..where is la..." she couldn't able finish her question as phone went dead. "Kushi Kumari gupta." He gritted his teeth before he throwing the phone on ground breaking it into smaller pieces.
