Now that Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna is enjoying a good run at the box-office, Karan Johar plans to relax for some time.
Johar plans to cool his heels for a while before returning to shoot for the second version of his TV show 'Koffee With Karan' in which he interviews famous celebrities.
At the same time Johar would be embarking on his next Bollywood project, which, sadly for his fans, will not have him directing.
Karan will produce two films under his banner Dharma Productions. The first film, yet untitled, will be directed by Soham, who earlier directed Kaal for Johar.
The film will most likely star Sanjay Dutt , John Abraham , Kareena Kapoor and Ritesh Deshmukh . Its shooting is expected to begin in November this year.
Apart from this, Karan will also be producing another film that will be directed by his assistant Tarun Mansukhani. The movie's script has been okayed but its star cast is yet to be finalized.
Mansukhani has worked under Karan since Kuch Kuch Hota Hai .
In the meantime, before Karan begins to shoot for his 'Koffee' show in October, the filmmaker has begun to make appearances on TV. Just this weekend he was seen on NDTV with Shah Rukh Khan in a debate over extra-marital relations, infidelity and institution of marriage, all of which are also the subjects of Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna
