Tonight, Hussain and Tina and Yash and Gouri Tonnk will battle it out in the Nach Baliye 2 finale. However, if it's the money they're after, they might be a tad disappointed. Unlike last year's Rs 50 lakh bounty won by Sachin and Supriya Pilgaonkar, this year's winners will only take home Rs 20 lakh. The choreographers too will win Rs 10 lakh, which is again a drop of Rs 15 lakh from what last year's winning choreographers Al and Mel took home. Confirming this news, a source from Star says, "Yes, the prize money has been slashed to Rs 20 lakh. But I don't think the winning couple will feel the pinch. Apart from the prize money, they also get a certain amount each week for every round they progress to." Even the trophy has been redesigned. Says the source, "It isn't an exact replica of the one we gave last year. The shape is slightly different, but the dancing couple on the top remains." The finale episode will have a 14-minute performance by both couples, after which voting lines will be open from 8.30 pm to 9.45 pm. Once the lines are closed, results will be tabulated and announced live on Star One. Invoking the deities Tina and Hussain attended a special pooja organised by BAG films for the couple at Visage studios in Jogeshwari. Anuradha Prasad of BAG films says, "We wanted to wish Hussain and Tina good luck for their performance. The entire Kumkum unit is very proud of Hussain and we want them to take home the trophy. I've been pleasantly surprised to watch Tina's performance week after week and I wish her all the luck."
