Yesterday night the prince was at his best. Even when he was at his worst, he was still at his best! And so was the princess. Here's why: With Saras trying in vain to make Kumud jealous, she just reacted calmly. And the more calm she was, the more outraged Saras was, thinking she doesn't care at all. So when he goes up to her at the meditation pool and splashes water on her, we saw a very passionate Saras coming out. The same one who was ready to leave the village forever, is the one who goes crazy at being ignored by his princess. And then when Kumud explains that where there is jealousy, there is no love, it just doesn't get any more beautiful. Not only was her expression pretty as a picture, but the emotion behind it was genuine. The flower calmly placing flowers on the water and floating them opens her mouth and makes the prince happy again. And then when he looks at her all dreamily after pinning her to the wall with his arms, I thought I was going to melt right there. Best. Scene. Ever. I am SO glad Kumud ignored Saras and Lakshmi I mean Radha. Because if she didn't, we wouldn't have gotten to see the angry prince abandon his calm and reserved exterior. It was nice, but not as nice as this. The boy who was afraid to love is now afraid not to. Well done, Kumari and Sunny. 👏 This scene makes me feel life is too short not to go after what one truly wants. And the best part about the entire episode? No Guman, who was probably off sharpening her claws for another round with Dugba.
Stars of the episode: Saras, Kumud, and the meditation pool.
