Madhav's lack of self-confidence !

I have been thinking about this for a long time now. I haven't seen any posts on this topic.
When aradhya entered madhav's life I thought she will be the one who will help madhav overcome his fear of being able to speak /present himself in front of other people.
That she would b the one to help him gain that self confidence.
I understand that's possible only after aradhya understands that only outer beauty is not important , and that madhav definitely has that personality which she imagined after hearing ehsaas's voice, it just needs to be brought out.

And that's the reason the dholamaru competition didnot fit in the storyline for me at this time.
Madhav who is even hesitant to come in front of public as ehsaas, who cannot even speak fluently in front of new people...did so well and even won such a big competition ? They showed no hesitance from his side except for a short scene in the beginning.

I think they should've brought this a little later in the storyline and shown how aradhya helps him overcome his fear and gain confidence. That would've been wonderful.

Agree with u. The Dhola Maru would have been beautiful if they bring it after Aradhya accepting Madhav. The sequence infact was shown to bring them close. It was like forcing them to be together & make Aaru to forgive/forgot the groom swap. Well, there are many viewers who are unable to accept the justification of groom swap as its a criminal offence. The CVs should erase Daadi & first let the viewers fall in love with the couple being together. Right now, many like me feel that forcing things is killing the beauty and purity of love. Forcing love n all is making the show very unrealistic & senseless. Sad that its happening in a show which i follow.

Yes very true and I hear one more coming up "jealousy track"
Let him ask for proper forgiveness first for the whole dulha swap thing, let her realize her love first , then a jealousy track would make sense. There's so much to show before she falls in love with him. I wonder what the cvs are thinking :(

The interesting thing is Aradhya herself is responsible for Madhav's complete lack of confidence in public.

i guess u did nt notice the very first round where madhav was seen clinching fists and playing with his fingers showing his low self confidence.

wn i first heard abt dhola-maru competition the first think that came to my mind was,hw will madhav who is diffidence,will participate in it?but maya's preparation for the competition cleared all my apprehensions.through this competition there developed a bond b/w them.there was understanding,communication,enjoyment,sharing- all these things happened b/w them during this preparation.he was nervous at the outset of the competition but they were there to win only.madhav was enjoying the lovely time he was spending with aradhya.he never thought abt anythingelse.nt even the divorce issue.it was only the lalit's calls dat brought him frm the sweet world.evy one was appreciating them.no one said anything bad abt their looks.evyone was praising the oneness of this couple.the competition was all abt the inner beauty of this couple.

Long time ago, in the school play when she called him brown boo and rejected him as frog prince, she completely shattered his self-confidence. Since then he became a completely withdrawn, socially inept boy and man.

He started hiding himself from the world and could only be confident and outspoken when he was unseen as Ehsaas, the RJ.

But when Aru re-entered his life as his wife (though unwillingly) he started getting back some of the confidence just by her presence in his life and during Dhola Maru competition, her presence by his side bolstered his self confidence and he could win the rounds, especially as Ehsaas, which is his alter-ego. When hes Ehsaas, hes a different person, confident, wise, romantic and thats the side that came out during the competition. Thats my take on the situation.😊

I agree with you partially. The way they portrayed it was not enough for me. They left the viewers to imagine it by themselves. A part of viewers would take it as you described it and a part of viewers would just take it as they see it on screen. They should've incorporated some scenes/dialogues to convey it to the viewers.
And apart from that I still believe it was all too early. A proper apology for dulha swap, plus they could've shown a lot more tracks where aradhya gets introduced to the real person inside madhav , before she accepted him as a nice person. It was all just too fast for me. Just my POV.
