I am guessing by IIT you mean Indian Institute of Technology.

Personally, I think its the beginning.. but its pretty easy to make it the end as well, if you give in to depression and don't seek help.

Not sure how it is now, since the number of schools and seats (including reservation) are more .. maybe its not as competitive as it used to be a decade ago.

Everybody wants to get into IIT, now, dun they? They do act for a lot of time as though not getting into it is the end of life entirely. But there's no about it the fact that it is not the end of frigging anything. It's just an educational institution you weren't good enough or lucky enough to get into.

Well, it took you IIT to lose interest in the world..😆..ah!

Being an IITian has its advantages..i know that...but now a days there are so many opportunities there..

What you really need to ensure is that wherever you are you need to be the best..

Trust me ...many good colleges have come up that offer you good career platform..

But yes, always in life.. You have to strive to be excellent in whatever you do!!!.. No easy way out !

PS: Not every IITians' life is as hunky dory as our parents would like to believe..but still Brand names always count...😊
