After Archana went into coma a lot has happened. Well Teju-Sunny have now finally been accepted as a couple,after Archana went into a coma, Manav blamed Soham, so he put him in jail, later discovering that Archana had signed his bail papers before falling into a coma, Soham now lives with Varsha and they both make an honest living. During Arjun-Ovi's 1 year wedding anniversary, it is revealed that Pari was ARVI's baby all along. So, Purvi who had been living with Sulochana, now gets kicked out and her and Onir have to adjust on their own. Arjun keeps Pari, and now that Ovi knows that Pari is not her biological daughter, she refuses to accept her. After a while, Arjun decides that it's best if Pari stays with Purvi, since she deserves to stay with her mother who can take care of her better, so Pari now stays with Purvi and Onir in their house. Ovi goes to Canada to resume her modeling career and is still there in the current storyline. Onir gets a job at a mysterious place working for Kinshuk Banerjee and another woman named Shalini, both of whom are said to have been a part of his past. Purvi gradually starts doubting Onir as he starts lying to her and one day, when Arjun gets back from Canada to try to convince Ovi to come back home, he sees Onir talking to Kinshuk saying how Purvi should not get suspicious of them. Not wanting Purvi's home life to suffer, Arjun hires a private investigator to keep his eye on Onir. In comes Gauri Shahane who is said to be paired with Soham, but for right now they both can not stand the sight of each other. Gauri is Archana's doctor, well a junior doctor under the main doctor, Mr.Agarwal, who has come from America just to treat Archana. The current storyline is basically Archana'a treatment and Purvi-Onir's struggling relationship.
