Nina, I wish you had done this more often. I mean post more often. I think the way you have come to terms with it is how most of us have come to terms with it.
Aarti 'giving up' Aayu- Ya totally in Aarti's character. I wouldn't have done it but I can totally see why Aarti would do it. I can totally see scenarios where power struggles can happen between Aarti and Pari. And had the CVs continued with this track I think it would have given all of us fodder to analyze. But since our show is ending tomorrow I am going to think, like you mentioned, that Aarti will learn to step back and Pari will learn to step up and both parents will always put Aayu first and Aayu will grow up showered with love.
As for Pari refusing Aarti's offer- Ya that is something that I though of too. And the way I think is that Aarti was able to give up Aayu because she has been a mother and has experienced the good and bad that comes with parent hood. Pari on the other hand is yet to experience parenthood to that depth. Aarti can understand the pain of losing a child. For Pari it is still an unknown quantity, honestly. It was reenforced when Pari flippantly tells Pratik that Aarti lost Aayu and she found Aayu so she Aarti shouldn't get to keep Aayu instead it should be her privilege to keep Aayu. How in the world does it work that way? An unfortunate incident happened and Aarti doesn't deserve to keep Aayu? And look how destiny smiles on Aarti, in today's episode, Pari ends up being in exactly the same situation Aarti found herself in a month and a half ago. Will she now understand Aarti's pain? Will she appreciate the cost it took for Aarti to once again give her child up for Pari's happiness? I think today losing Aayu will make Pari realize that Aayu is and will and should always be with Yash and Aarti.
I am sorry! I think went off tangent a little bit. 😆

Thanks for your response Borna.
I agree Aarti is not the kind of person to engage in such power struggles. That was the initial scenario that played out in my head but when I thought more about the person Aarti is, I thought, that the power struggles and dominance of the child may be something seen in other shows, but Aarti isn't like that at all. She would do what she thinks is in the best interests of Paridhi-Prateik and Aayu.
