DK, what kind of dad do you think he is?

DK was portrayed as this understanding, practical father who doted on his son but was also a friend to his motherless son. The last few months DK has been rolling over and playing dead at every important juncture in his son's life. DK was responsible in a way for that surprise engagement that messed Arjun over, DK did not bat an eyelid at the bride switch, DK showed no emotion at the Pari truth, DK sat like petrified stone when Ovi walked out of the house, this man is emotionless or handicapped in that he cannot exhibit his true feelings. Cold or merely undemonstrative? I think DK has turned out to be useless as a dad. 😕

DK is a useless dad ..

He is a rich guy but he has never given Arjun the right support that was needed ..

He is a better father to Manav than Arjun. DK practically gives everything to Manav.

With DK for a father, Arjun would have been better off without a father. teh man cannot be relied on for support to Arjun at any stage. he is more concerned about the Deshmukhs and his business than he is about his flesh and blood, Arjun and Pari. Arjun returned Pari to Purvi, he made no protes. Arjun was going to raise Pari alone, he told him how difficult it would berather than supporting him.

But all the fathers in this programme are shown as ineffectual. Damaodar is a drunk, Vinod couldn't find work for how long and is completely under Manju's thumb. Manav has been shown to be ineffectual, just see how his children turned out.

I have to say he is a useless Dad (ATM) He was a cool dad up until Arjun Ovi marriage drama Now he is just a useless Dad as well as Grandpa 😕

Ugh... DK is completely useless as Arjun's father. Where is the fierce, protective, love? I ujderstand giving your children their space to live their live, but when your child has muddled up their life and that of others so badly, do you not think it right to take a stand?

This man has no involvement with either Arjun or Pari! As a father or a grandad, he is severely lacking!

I do like one thing though - he cuts to the point directly - no beating about the bush. When Arjun dithers with the detective issue, DK comes right out and asks - do you love Purvi? Upfront, just like that. Its a question Arjun shouhls really start asking himself, and make a decision, for God's sake. If not for himself, then for the child. At this point, I think Arjun and Purvi and too muddleheaded to come to a firm decision about anything. Ovi cries and screams, Manav yells, Onir is turning shady, Purvi is too "mahaan", Arjun is uber confused, Savita and Sulo are rude and interfering, Teju's character development is nonexistent... did I miss anyone?

At this point, the CV's shhould bring up DK's character to be a strong and loving father, it's high time.

Dk sir has not been a proper father to his son Arjun. It was his job to intervene and stop the marriage of arovi or get it annulled when his son was clearly unhappy.

It was his job all along to look out for his son and his sons happiness above all.

Bad daddy...very bad, he acts like a stoic hermit. Well then he shd go to the forest and live like one. As long as hes in society he has to act responsible towards his son and granddaughter. If he was more proactive Arjun wouldnt be suffering so much!
