~~UPDATE~~
Everyone went outside to see what had happened. They saw a cloud of smoke in the distance, and understood that the car bomb had exploded. Addy said that he couldn't understand why Sameer (Madhvi todl them that fake Mantra's real name was Sameer) took the car away when he was supposed to let Krishna sit in it. Then Yash, Addy and Krishna walked down the street to the place where the car had exploded. They assumed that Sameer had died. Suddenl;y, Sameer appeared from behind them, looking a little injured but nothing too severe. He said that he had driven the car as far away from their house as possible, and then jumped out before the explosion.
Addy asked him, "Why would you drive the car away when you were ordered to let Krishna sit in it?" Sameer got shocked to hear that they knew he was supposed to do that. He was about to explain that he was forced to be a part of the murder attempt on Krishna, but then Krishna interrupted and said that he knows everything about him....that he was a part of their lives just for the sole purpose of ruining it. Sameer argued that he was going to tell them, but Vikrant had threatened to kill him. "Vikrant didn't kill you...the explosion didn't kill you...but I will!" yelled Krishna and grabbed Sameer's collar. Then he started punching him. Addy and Yash tried to stop him but he was too angry to listen to either one of them. Radhika and Mrs.Sahay showed up as well. After taking a couple of punches, Sameer stopped Krishna himself. "That's it!" he said angrily, and continued, "I've had enough of this. I have been trying to explain myself, but none of you want to hear the truth!"
"Oh really? And what truth would that be? That you pretended to be Mantra? Or that you lied and said that you were staying with a friend when in reality, you were following Krishna and Radhika? Or that you fooled Radhika into trusting you and treating you with kindness?" Yash snapped at him. Sameer replied "Yes, I admit that I've done those things. And to be honest, I don't have regrets about following Krishna-Radhika or about pretending to be Mantra. But the fact of the matter is that I didn't want anyone dead, and certainly not Radhika's husband!" Then he turned towards Radhika, who was standing there with a disappointed expression. He apologized to Radhika and said that she was a very good person, who always treated him well. He explained everything, about how he was forced to assist with the whole car bomb issue, and that he purposely drove the car away so that it wouldn't harm anyone.
"Your grandfather is the real culprit behind this", he said. Radhika didn't say anything to him. She was trying to grasp the fact that her own family was behind this entire thing. Krishna still didn't believe that Sameer was being honest, but Yash mentioned that Sameer tried to prevent Krishna's death by risking his own life, so there must be some truth to his story. Suddenly, Sameer's cell phone rang. He took it out and got nervous upon seeing "Vikrant" written as the caller's ID. He answered it. Vikrant asked him if the plan suceeded, and Sameer started stammering. "Uh...well...Krishna didn't go to the office today...so I quickly drove the car away from the house to prevent from anything happening to your granddaughter. It exploded on the street." Vikrant expressed his fury and cursed his own luck. After hanging up, Sameer asked them if they still thought he was a threat to them. Krishna didn't say anything...Radhika came forward and said that she accepted his apology...Addy and Mrs.Sahay didn't say much to him...Yash suggested that he should just leave this country before Vikrant found out that he had revealed everything.
That evening, Yash, Sameer and Addy were at the police station, trying to sort things out. Everyone else was at home, sitting in the living room. Radhika's family (from the second janam) and Jitisha had come over after hearing about the incident. "I...I can't believe that my own family would do this to me..." Radhika said as tears streamed down her face. "Everything was just a farce. The renewed friendship between the two families...was nothing but a lie...they are still bitter about the past...how can they be so determined to hate each other forever?" said Krishna, as upset as Radhika. Mrs.Sahay comforted them. "It was a good thing that Sameer nay sahi waqt par sab sambhal liya. Otherwise...who knows what would have happened to Krishna." said Jitisha.
In the Rana house, Vikrant had called Dhanraj and Akash to his room. The three of them discussed the failure of their plan. Dhanraj suggested that next time, they should come up with something that guarantees Krishna's death, and isn't risky. Just then, Vikrant got a call from Gajendra. "How are you, my friend?" he asked. vikrant replied that he was fine. the two of them chatted for a while. Gajendra expressed his disapproval of Krishna and Radhika staying with the Sahays, considering that they were going to have a baby and should be able to share some happiness with their own families too.
Back in the Sahay residence, Yash, Addy and Sameer returned from the police station. Sameer said that he was feeling worried as to what the Ranas would do to him if they came to know that saved Krishna and revealed their plan. He decided to leave the city...but Yash suggested that he should leave the country, so that no one can track him down. Mr.Sahay said that he would arrange for the ticket. sameer protested that they didn't have to do anything for him, considering that he had betrayed them right from the start. "That's true....but you could have let Krishna die, and you didn't...you saved his life...and you didn't technically cause us any harm...so this is the least we can do for you." said Radhika.
Two days later, Sameer visited the Sahays in the morning. "Everything is set...I'm going to be leaving for the airport in an hour. I just came to say goodbye." he said. Then he went on to say that he would always remember the time that he spent with them. "I never really had a family of my own, so it was a nice change to be a part of yours, even if it was based on a lie." He apologized to Radhika once again, and said. "I hope that you'll always lead a peaceful life. Your husband is a very nice guy, and you two deserve to be happy. I hope things will work out between your families, although the chances don't seem very good." "Don't worry, that is something that we will try to deal with. I too, wish you a good life Sameer. you should find a good job somewhere...and stop using improper methods to earn money." replied Radhika. Krishna, who had been standing behind everyone, finally came forward and said "I know that I've been a total jerk to you...and I admit that I used to feel a little insecure and over-possessive whenever I saw you spending time with Radhika, but...but I guess it would be totally unfair on my part if I never thanked you for saving my life. I am sorry for my behaviour." Then Krishna smiled and shook hands with Sameer.
Sameer took out a gift and gave it to Krishna-Radhika. "This is for your baby. I won't be here when he/she is born, so I thought I'd give this to you in advance", he said. Krishna and Radhika thanked him. He said his goodbyes to everyone else and finally left. Krishna, Radhika and everyone else discussed what they should do next. "I'm so scared for you...just don't go anywhere for a few days...please..." Radhika told Krishna. He assured her that they'd find a way to deal with the situation.
Back in the Rana house, Poornima (Radhika's mom) suggested that they should have a havan (pooja ceremony) in the house, as they hadn't had one since K-R got married. Vikrant and the others agreed. She went to call Radhika-Krishna and the Rathores to inform them about it. When Radhika answered the phone, Poornima told her about the upcoming havan. "We're keeping it after three days...I just wanted to ask you to and Krishna to be there. And.." "No Ma. Krishna and I will NOT be a part of it!" Radhika replied in a slightly angry and upset tone. Poornima was totally stunned.
