Respect - Gurmeet Kratika and PV fans

I agree, poore dil se. I love them as actors for their ability to rouse emotions in me that I never knew I had. But more than that, I have been so, so very impressed with the elan with which both these actors have dealt with nastiness. I wouldn't even call what they went through criticism because it was not. Kratika went through shit when the show started. The holi video is probably one of the most watched videos and still now there are people who call her hippopotamus and what not. And to think that that is the kindest they have told about her. I am not someone who ever wishes bad on people but I hope these young girls some day do get to face karma for belittling a human being just because she did not fit their idea of beauty. And Kratika's latest interview was testament to the fact that she had read these kind of nastiness and it had affected her. But what is inspirational was how she used that to improve herself in whatever area she thought needed improvement. She has my respect.

And coming to GC, well nothing more to say what hasn't been said already. These kind of stuff are all part and parcel of every actor's life. Yet the way they deal with it is what sets some actors apart from the rest. Coming to their roles, DITTO! These are two actors among the few who have experimented as much as they could given the limited opportunities TV world gives them. Costume drama, family drama, mythology, romance...While most actors box themselves in cookie cutter roles, these two actors have taken risks and it has paid of. Yup they have my respect as well as my admiration. Good luck to them. No worries about them coming back. They will.😃
