I always love the Sarabhai family scenes ... but this one was really sweet. An emotional moment for every girl and for her parents ... all their lives they dream of a handsome prince for their princess, but when the time comes, so does the realisation that it's also the time to let go of their darling girl ... time to loosen old bonds, so that new ones can be formed ...
Loved that sweet moment between Chhanchhan and her mother ... and the teasing of the brother added just the right touch of lightness ☺️
Lovely post, Sunara! 👏
thank u!
and u also know that I simply adore that side of the story, that warmth emanating from the Sarabhai family..i actually remembered my mom's words when i was 18. I wasn't getting married, but i was planning to leave the country for my higher studies, and she told me that she was the one who was going to find it the hardest to face an empty home every day..
and that was a mere 4 years had it happened, which actually didn't happen..as i changed my mind..
and as for the teasing of the brother.. for all the teasing of the world i am sure that he would be the one crying hardest on the day he would have to bid goodbye to his sister.. those moments were so natural that it could have so easily been part of my own life..beautifully executed...
