Since it is based on a book, people know most of the story if not all. It seemed like too much was packed up in the first episode and most of the cards have been already played. Dad's attitude, step-mom's intentions, SCs character, Kumud's sense of self and her importance to family, Kumud's dreams and impulsive acceptance !
The most hasty one in which the heroine voices her acceptance of her love without seeing him in the second episode.
I for one, would have loved a slow and steady build up which makes TV viewing experience different from that of a film...hope that this serial is properly paced and doesnt burn out the main actors...builds up on the character of each of the cast involved...that will make it truly worth watching...
slow and steady indeed seems to win the race in the Telly world...
