Palash 'Sir': Friend or Father Figure?

What did everyone think of Ganesh's comment on Aditya putting his hand around Palash Sen during his 'rock' performance? According to Ganesh, Palash is Adi's guru, 'father figure'. Adi should touch his feet in respect, not put his hand around him like a friend. Adi in defense said that he respects both Palash sir and Soumya ji, both are like his parents. But in the academy, they never act like very strict teachers or dictators or anything along those lines.

What do think? Was Ganesh overreacting or was he right? Palash sir comes across as a friend more than a guru IMO. He jokes around with the contestants during the galas and danger round performance episodes. I haven't seen enough of the academy episodes to comment on his behavior though.

i feel that palsh shpuld remain like guru ,even palash sir over reacts with his students , i liked the gurus of fame gurukul they had mantained their position .

What I think that we have a rowdy crowd this time who don't have any respect for seniors 🤢 ,just look the way they behave and talk to Palash in the academy 🤢

I think i like their relationship.. Why give them sleepness nights the way poor Qazi used to go through all that.. The judges are strict..The singing teacher is strict and is palash is friendsly and encouraging then i think its Cool and good for the mental stability of the Contestants too..

Palash sir has always treated the contestant as a frnd..everytime he says yeh sab mere sher hai...
In any epi i have seen palash being veru strict to any contestant
