These nominations are pretty bad for some of the television categories. I don't quite see this obsession with Mere Qatil Mere Dildar where Mehwish is nominated for that in the best actress category, she was far better in Manjali. Mikaal was awesome in Manjali too, and if they were going to nominate Manjali in so many categories I fail to see how they would overlook Mikaal's performance. Also, Saba Hameed in Manjali wasn't anything spectacular. Saba Qamar should've been nominated for Main Chaand Si too..and Sanam Baloch once again gets snubbed for Durre Shahwar. Further, Aamina Sheikh was amazing in Maat as well..she deserved to be up there. Mahira was a given nomination because of Humsafar, so no surprise there.. while Hina deserves to be nominated for her the Qudusi saga that's been going on for ages, but that show's plain annoying...And, really glad they didn't leave Saba out, but I doubt she's going to win with this public voting system. Oh, and Bushra Ansari deserved to be nominated for Bilqees Kaur. She was the only reason to watch that show.

Fawad will probably win it for Humsafar...but if this was critics choice, I think Faisal would win it because Faisal's character in Jahez was no joke and quite challenging. I'm glad that Imran Aslam is being acknowledged a lot these days..he's a very good actor and deserves the acknowledgement.

Mera Yakeen didn't deserve a nomination in the drama category in my opinion..it wasn't all that great. I'm disappointed to see no Main Chaand Si, that show was brilliant and so underrated.

Just noticed Mera Yakeen being up there. That show was so average. Why would it be nominated?

I really wish Saba can win this. I think last year she also expected to win for PJP but Savera won for QET. Couldn't say anything there because both were amazing.

But let's see. Last year was tough competition. This year especially in the best actress category, barring Saba there's barely any remarkable performances. I wish the jury could intervene and give it to her!

Saba deserves it..
Savera Nadeem & Bushra Ansari needed to be nominated..both are powerful performers.
Why are they ignoring Sanam Baloch in these award functions..??
She was absolutely fantastic in DES...

I know!, what's with these award shows snubbing Sanam Baloch for Durre Shahwar..it's quite weird..that show was one of the best shows of 2012, and Shahwar was a phenomenal character, brilliantly portrayed by Sanam...but even if she was nominated she wouldn't have won..and Saba probably isn't going to win either. I feel Saba is going to be nominated for most of these LSA events but in the end, will miss out on getting the award because of the public voting system...I hope I'm proven wrong..but I see Mahira walking away with the award, once again. Though, I really hope that's not the case. 😆

Mahirah DO NOT deserve this award.. i'm sure Mahirah fans would agree to this..
just noticed they have nominated Saba Hameed for Manjali.. i dont this she was extra ordinary in that one.. She is a good actress no doubt.. i liked her in Qaid e tanhai & MAQH.. but her role in Manjali dint had the meat to be nominated for best actress imo.. Savera Nadeem or BI should've been there instead.

Usman Mahirah fans have always agreed to her not being nominated. It's way too early and I'm sure there's better performances to come. This award should definitely go to Saba Qamar.

It's embarrassing for Mahirah to win IMO because she knows she doesn't deserve it. She seemed pretty embarrassed to win at Hum Awards on Faisal Qureshi's show.

It's not about Mahira being nominated. The problem is the system these award shows are using to declare winners. There's not a single award for satellite dramas that does not have public voting. That just makes the award show look not so credible or authentic.

Saba has been winning quite a lot of PTV awards over the past few yrs and that's solely because they have a jury that decides it and that just says so much. I can kind of understand Mahira winning at a show that's solely a people's choice award show but to have your supposedly most anticipated award show of the year declare winners based on public voting..is just not fair to everyone. Public voting is so flawed for these award shows..voting for your favorite or who you like does not signify anything but unfairness.
