Why was there a wild card entry ?

Last evening, I was wondering why did MC3 introduce a wild card challenge and consequently gave another chance to the fired candidates.
It could be the skeptic in me but I think the following are some of the reasons

1. To show how dynamic and able Navneet 🤢 is, because I bet Sachin or Jihan stood no chance in the beginning of the contest and still doesn't. Sachin has shown previously how incompetent he was, and this time presto he won, coz Navneet the pasta master was with him. What better publicity for Navneet ( and hence proving he is a top contender) than doing it this way. Should shut the naysayers who say Navneet has reached so far based only on luck.

Okay, it can be argued that Sachin made the best dish on the day( but like I said I am a skeptic)

2. To show how mahaan Ripu is, I suppose everyone knows by now that I am no big fan of Ripu but seeing him interacting with Khoku has really warmed me. It has also demonstrated how Khoku was struggling without his help. Poor girl should have chosen something she was comfortable with rather than listening to Ripu's arty-farty ideas. So now we have further cemented Ripu's mahapan( TBF I think he was genuine) and also shown that Khoku is not as good as many of us think here. Editing ka kamaal. Although I still think she is very talented but not confident or vocal enough to push her ideas forward.

3. To show how worthy Doyel is- as her simple chutney is what made Devayani's dish. Forget all the hard work that went into making those muffins. It's the chutney that clinched it.

4. To show how boastful 'i dont eat chicken but I cook the best chicken' Happy is.

I feel, they want some candidates back in and surely one of them can't be Sachin ? So is this all genuine or is there something behind all this. Or is it show us that the judges aren't biased and they even chose Sachin who was the weakest amongst the lot. This can go in circles, so I am ending it here!
Like I said, it's just my opinion and I have too much time on my hands.🥱

I too was wondering y they went ahead with wildcard entry as last two seasons did not have any. and that again two.It is really a big blow to others who try hard to survive in show going through all challenges.

Could be because they had two eliminations in one week before or maybe the show tht will replace masterchef is getting delayed.😆

I agree with most of ur points but totally agree with no:3. Even i was thinking the whole credit was given to Doyal and Kunal was tasting dish looking at Doyals face.it looked like chutney was the only thing presentd before them.I would like to taste her chutney as judges seem to go gaga abt her bengali chutney always.

But it was nice to c the old contestants as was bored with same faces Nisha, Navneet ,Doyal, Ripu, Yasmin. So it was a nice change and though Sachin may not be an expert still i like his humbleness and am glad he won prize money too.

Khoku was struggling and am not sure why she chose this dish as comeback dish as she shd have made somthg that she is an expert on. To her luck Ishrat was eliminated and she now has a second chance.

I think judges felt there was lack of strong contestants and so may wantd competition to be tougher.😊

Although I don't think much of Sachin's cooking, I am happy he won and got the prize money. He also seemed surprised that he won it 😆
About Khoku, I think there was a strong Ripu influence in the choice of her dish and that truly flustered her when she was left alone. She should have chosen something she was comfortable in and then asked for Ripu's opinion to add a twist to it.

Truly, it was nice to see the old faces and made a difference from the constant doyal and navneet highlights.

Lol true, I was wondering what happened to Happy, he sounded really bitter and vengeful at times. TBF, I suppose he must have wondered what's Navneet doing in the contest, when a better cook, like himself, got fired.

No idea !!
If Sachin got chosen, everyone else stands an equal chance. I wouldn't be shocked even if Jihan got selected. Sachin and he were the two weakest contestants there.

Ditto..Noticed the way judges were hell bent on drawing comparison between wc and existing contestant .. I don't see the point of wild card other than justifying that none the wcs deserved to be there and current ones are best in lot..

Just my opinion..Comment on Doyal's chutney saving devyani's dish is uncalled for. neways doyal has chutney making career opportunity..Hell bent on saying ravioli idea was Navneet's wrong ,uncalled for..


I am happy for sachin ,he got the one lakh :)

Edit: Yesterday I realized from Kunal's comment Vishal and Kunal had not tasted Sachins dish when it was dumped into dustbin ..That was too high handed of Sanjeev Kapoor

4) I get annoyed with happy'a lectures most of the time 🥱 He is very mean at times! Those comments when he said when no one chose him, or be it the time when judges told the other contestants to go after 30 min🥱

Im a Ripu fan 😉 to be honest, that dish would have been great if ripu was there till end! It was simply not a dish for koku and koku should have thought about it!

Agree Diya, that seemed like a Ripu dish and hence why I mentioned in another post how she should have chosen something she was comfortable with and then asked for Ripu's suggestion to make it stand out. Unfortunately, as she knew the judges thought high of Ripu's dishes, she must have thought she stood a better chance when Ripu suggested this dish.

If I remember right, weren't they told only after they started cooking that their pairs would leave them halfway?

About Happy, I feel he has a mean streak hidden within him which he has managed to hide so far with cheerfulness, but now that he's out, it's probably becoming more evident.
