I could not because I never watched the first season fully. I began watching when they were a few episodes down.

@L - It's part of the journey. Per Angusta Ad Augusta. Things have got rough before for the boys as well but they always come through. They stick with each other and face it and that's what makes the show so amazing.

@Husna - Thanks for the reply! Just wanted to offer my opinions on the couple of things you mentioned:

- I have my doubts about Metatron too. I think the guy's on the good side but yes, Naomi could be controlling him. There's also a photo from the finale where Naomi's roughly holding him and an angel blade pointed at him. I feel like he really does want to shut down heaven for now but Naomi will get her hands on him in the finale and things will go haywire. As for Dean doing the heaven trials, that's what I thought too... and I had thought that this would take longer than 1.5 episodes. There's no way Cas can complete last two trials in just one episode. Seems kinda rushed.

- The waitress was a different concept than Anna, the fallen angel. She was an abomination because she's an offspring of an angel and a human. Such kind of contact between angels and humans is strictly forbidden. They kinda used the demigod concept here... the offspring is half human and half angel so has some angel powers.

@K - You should watch Sarah's episode though. It was good. And I liked Sarah instantly. Even Dean was so impressed with her than he told Sam to "marry that girl."
