No one from the industry visited Jagdish Mali - Page 2

I feel sad that one of the most famous photographers in Bollywood history has had such a tragic end. 😭

There was a time when no film magazine was complete without Mali's pics!

Besides others like Gautam Rajadhyaksha, it was Jagdish Mali on whom magazines used to rely for their classic shots and posters series.

Madhuri Dixit was said to have a horrible sense of fashion and make up in her early days. It was Jagdish Mali who groomed her and taught her how to face the still camera. Today this woman is not even willing to comment on him, let alone visit him or attend his funeral.

Urmila Matondkar, Raveena Randon, Kajol and Rani Mukherji were also gawky teens and had no idea how to pose for pics. This man had groomed them all and given some of their most gorgeous pics ever.

The worst and most royal ignore has come from thankless Rekha! She owes her career best pics and posters to Mali! And once upon a time she used to call him her family friend. Is this how you behave towards someone who is responsible for keeping your legend alive even after you're failing in films? Is this the treatment you give to "family friends"?!
Shameful!

And what about Mr. Being Human who had sprung forward to help him earlier? Must've been busy in shooting or store launches I guess.

If there is clout or expectation of benefit in future from that person's family only then Bollywood royalties attend their funerals. Or else industry men are left to rot.

RIP Mr. Mali. Thanks for those posters and making gawky teens and ageing women look like absolute divas in your pics!

i duno much about his career...but the kind of statements his daughter gave earlier, i can see why this happened...im sure theres more to the picture that we dont see...

its sad...hope he rests in peace...
