Thanks for elaborating Arshi, i know what you're saying, we def wouldn't put up with a man talking/treating us that way BUT i feel when she felt it was necessary Khushi gave it right back to him. Most of the time she stayed quiet even though he hurt her was when she had some understanding of why he was doing what he was doing. Even she didn't feel that redemption was necessary and niether did i. He never got credit for all the time he saved her life, saved her from falling, sweetly blowing sand out of her eye, untangling her from fairy light, taking care of her when she was sick...yes verbal abuse was his way of only pushing her away after the GH incident...and don't forget she also really hurt him verbally a few times. two times that stick out are during resignation and after the forced marriage when she tells him she hates him and that he isn't deserving of anyone's love 😭 oh that scene makes me bawl everytime. Even the day after the forced marriage in moo-dikhai, he stuck up for her respect even though he was under the impression that she was having an affair with another man. "Meri patni"...ok i better get back to work, but that's my side of argument. I don't think there was any need to apologize...but he did later on b/c that's how bad he felt, so to me that was more than enough. If he hurt her, he took care her of in their journey together and that in itself was redemption in my eyes.
