Guys , guys, guys! No point being upset about Zoya-Ayaan meeting today. While I am not sure why they exactly fight in the introductory scene, because, they had become *best friends* now, but may be it was just because Zoya goes, tum dekh ke nahi chal sakte... :).
Coming to the two three important points about today's conversation:
1. He does not know that Asad and Zoya love each other. He has hinted in the past that to Asad that "Unkewali" is great, but Asad has again and again denied any interest in her, by saying that she is a musibat. So he thinks he knows his brother too well. He does not have the emotional maturity to assess Asad or Zoya's feelings (well he could not even assess his own!) so he is taking things at face value. Which is that Asad does not like Zoya in romantic sence. So he asks Zoya, that while Asad is doing this for his mother, why are you doing this, and so he asks her if she loves him. She dodges the question. Then he self thinks. He says HE IS SURE SHE HAS MADE A PLAN TO RUN AWAY from the wedding. He does not SAY SHE WILL RUN AWAY from the wedding. For someone who does not see her on a daily basis, this is a perfect response. Zoya has done the extra ordinary (including the engagement gate crash) so he feels that he is sure she has a plan that she will use/do last minute. All her plans have been escapists types - including the one to keep Asad away from the hearing, to making the brothers meet , to the engagement. So he is just making an assumption based on Zoya's past experiene, that knowing her, if she wants to get out of this wedding, she will have a way to get out of it.
What he does not know (and will soon!) is that Zoya does NOT WANT TO Get out of the wedding.
2. His comments about being opposities is again,a culmination of two things. One is own personal view of love (he was doubting the same with Humeira being different. He thinks people must be similar) and Asad's constant reiteration that Mona is a bacha, musibat etc. etc.
When Dilshad or someone talks to Ayan about the incidents (proposal etc. etc.) leading up to the wedding, I am sure he will make Asad and Zoya realize their feelings.
Give it some time. I dont think Ayan said anything alarming. He is trying to treat life with sanjidgi, but all he meant to say was that Zoya should for once, leave things aside, take a break and think for herself.
Wait and watch guys! Relax. No Zoyaan starting, I promise.
