@first paragraph, yeah that's definitely possible.

@second para, but the servants know the truth. 😆 (I don't think it's possible for the servants to not know, with all the drama, the fights, etc that have gone on in that house. The servants are in the vicinity in many of the scenes in the dining room.) Usually some people would try to get some scoop from the servants. So once they all figured Meera was Balraj's mistress, certain people would definitely try to get more dishy info. Well I guess we can write it off as Balraj is scary enough that the servants are very loyal or wouldn't dare to gossip.

likarsh to be honest I only ever seen workers once or twice or may be I didn't see bec. I was focused on ppl in the house / owners.

Yeah I wouldn't say workers are not aware, but for sure they're terrorized. Balraj'd make sure he/ she never leaves that place alive or never allow them to work else where.

That's not really how I think it but saying for argument sake. It's more like Balraj handling things his own way - y'know how he gets things done by sweet words when needed. He may have done that to workers too. He can act.

loved reading your thoughts..I love watching the show too. It has a balance of sadness, playfulness, and laughs all at the same time. Hope the story continues to become interesting..
