it is Akshaya Tritiya, a holy day for hindu's
akshya means infinite, or never ending.
it is said that any good work started on this day goes well,brings prosperity, and a very auspicious day to perform any kind of charity.
it is even said that it is very lucky to buy gold on this day.
there are many stories associated with this day.
