I think the theory you presented as well as Npdepa are very plausible to the current track.

Tanveer is pretty quick thinking so these two theories make the most sense to come out of her mouth.

I don't see her saying "Oh, I was on my way to the kitchen to cook some chicken curry and I was attacked by the ghost of the chicken that died at the hands of the stone eyed witch." 😆

Though that would be hilarious to hear 🤣

She cannot say Zoya tried to attack her because that would throw suspicion on her...Najma and Dilshaad would never believe her and I would think Asad would have his own doubts (but you never know with this man...the CVs have him blowing up at Zoya every chance her intentions and creditability are at stake) And of course Zoya would do a 180 and be like "What?!"...she has been nothing but nice to Tanveer and has considered her a friend. Tanveer cannot afford to have Zoya become suspicious of her.

On the same lines of what Npdepa was proposing...Tanveer may just say she say the stone-eyed witch by the fuse box and the lady was going to hurt Zoya and I tired scaring her off. In the process the lady attacked me and left. Tanveer may start mumbling about bad omens and black magic because someone is trying to ruin the happiness of the Khan household as Shireen has cursed Dilshaad regarding Asad's marriage. This could be reason why all these strange things are happening around the house.

At this point I would hope Zoya starts putting on her thinking cap and maybe put up security cameras around the house...of course doing this when everyone is out of the house because Asad wouldn't go for it as he doesn't believe in ghosts and black magic nonsense.

On another note...some of the posts here mention that Irman is the father of Tanveer's child but I don't remember any proof being shown. I remember Tanveer had called someone to inform them that she was pregnant. I assumed it was the actual father because a few scenes later we see her meet Irman who sounds as if he doesn't have a clue as to why she wanted to meet him. Irman then tells her that he hasn't been with her for some time and she is the one who left him. How could he possibly be the father? I can only think that Tanveer got rejected by the baby's father and she went after Irman to try to convince him that he is the father so she doesn't lose face. But she was rejected by him and humiliated by Razia thus her plan is to go after Asad now.

A friend of may suggested something interesting. She said what if Tanveer's baby's father is Furoz (is that how you spell his name?) that would be Haseena B's brother right? And Irman's uncle?
