Methinks there's some rumble in the bronx; i.e. in Tunveer's mind.
I do think the knife-stab won't happen.
Instead, based on SBS, Tunveer is cleverly tearing up her sleeves, cuffs, and dress, plus lightly cutting herself.
This may be a ploy to get sympathy from Mr. Khan.
Whether by pretending to be attacked (by Ms. Farouqui????); raped (by whom?); or simply mentally imbalanced remains to be seen.
There are several parallels that come to mind here:
- There was a big lead up of the psuedo-wedding of ASR and Khushi in IPK and then while their wedding did take place, the whole thing including the 4 months after it were truly miserable and made for very bad story, scripting, and interest by viewers which rapidly dwindled.
Is this the same thing?
A wedding of misunderstanding?
- Writers of such soaps are a common lot; i.e. they write for multiple shows on multiple channels. So they are a small group and the tried and true keeps getting trotted out at regular intervals.
I have observed that when a particular theme is introduced in one show a very similar theme is introduced in other shows as well.
For example, when the whole gas-cylinder farce was going on, the show Ek Hazaaron...also had a gas-cylinder theme, though there it did blow up.
These writers certainly don't believe in employing their imagination to the fullest extent!😆
There are various other examples.
So now, we also have a similar theme of marriage - forced or wanted or otherwise in QH and Sanaya Irani's show Chhann-Chhann.
There, too, the boy's mother is carrying out 'fainting' drama to get her way, thoguh she is against the wedding.
The story of that show is based on the wedding, so its a foregone conclusion that that wedding will take place.
Will QH wedding also take place?
I am not so sure.
It may get suspended as Mr.Khan consoles Tunveer and/or investigates her story/lies.
But we also have the 10-days vow by Dilshaad.
To keep her word, will Mr. Khan then marry Tunveer?
Whether in pity or because he feels she may the 'right' one for him,i.e as he lies even more to himself and runs scared of labeling his emotions?
We would then have the story where Mr.Khan always feard it.
Doing to Ms.Farouqui as was done to his mom.
After all, there is always that saying about self-fulfilling prophecies.
The story will then get more complicated... typical soap-style.
A pity really, because the earlier complexities of Raashid-Dilshaad-Shireen, Siddiqui-Ruzia and that entire family dynamic, Mr. Khan junior bro-Houmayra, Nikhut-Imran, etc., were all more interesting, realistic, and certainly enjoyable.
It has been a farce for most of April and now May, ever since the visa-drama got enacted out.
Fans may drool over the 'Asya' scenes, but realistically speaking the story has not moved an inch in any direction.
