Chapter Thirteen

Taani beamed at Rey. She said, "Rey, it's my first payment!" and hugged him tightly. Rey responded with the same enthusiasm.

Rey broke the hug and said, "Last time plan cancel ho gaya tha, lekin iss baar tumhe hume atleast ice-cream treat dene padegi!" Taani smiled widely and said, "Ice-cream chodo, main toh khud kuch banakar khilaungi sab ko!" Rey replied, "Excellent!" Taani fished out her cell phone from her bag and said, "Main abhi gang message karke humare ghar bulati hoon."

She texted the gang, "My home, right now!" Then, Rey and Taani started off to Taani's home, too.

Sharon, Simmi, Rinni, Neha and Aashi met outside Sharon's house and went to Taani and Swayam's home together. Outside their home, they met the boys. Vicky asked, "Girls, any idea Taani ne aise urgently kyun bulaya?" The girls shook their heads. Simmi said, "I just hope ki koi problem na hui ho." Nilesh replied, "Ya, you're right!" Sharon said, "Ab kya hua hai woh toh Andar jaakar hi pata chalega na. Come on!"

Sharon rang the doorbell. Swayam opened the door. "Oh! Hi Sharon!" Vicky said, "Abe, sirf Sharon nahi, hum sab hai!" Swayam retorted, "I noticed that. Waise tum sab eksaaath yahan kaise?"

Sharon answered, "Taani ne text karke bulaya tha sabko." She showed Swayam Taani's message. Swayam was confused, "Taani ne aap logo ko yahan text karke bulaya? Par woh khud yahan nahi hai!"

Right at that moment, Taani and Rey appeared. Seeing both of them together, Swayam's possessive side kicked in. He said, "Tum dono kahan gaye the?" Taani replied grinning, "Channel ke office gaye the play dene." She held up the cheque. Sharon gasped, "OMG! Taani, I'm so happy for you!" She pulled Taani in a rib-crackling hug.

Swayam's possessive side hadn't faded yet. He asked, "Par tum dono saath kyon gaye the?" Taani said, "Bhai, aapko kya ho gaya hai? Bhul gaye, aap se puch kar gaye the hum." Swayam recalled their phone call and said, "Oh, yeah. Of course." Rey rolled his eyes and said, "Swayam, ab yeh drama ho gaya ho toh kya hum please andar aa sakte hai?"

Swayam quickly got out of the way and said, "Yeah, of course!" They all went inside. Simmi asked, "Toh hume yahan kyun bulaya?" Rey answered before Taani could even open her mouth,"Kyunki aaj hum Taani ke haath ka khana khane waale hai!" Taani smiled.

Vicky : (surprised)Tum khana bana sakti ho?

Taani : Aap logo ki problem kya hai? Har koi mujhse yahi question puch raha hai! Meri jagah kisi ladke kop pucha hota toh baat alag thi, but mujhe kyun puch rahe ho/

Rinni : That's probably because, humese kisi ko cook karna nahi aata.

Suddenly, everyone's cell phones beeped. They checked their phones.

Swayam : VP sir se message?

Sharon : Ek urgent kaam ke vajah se…

Rey : Students ko kal Yaani Saturday ko…

Everyone : Holiday declare kiya gaya hai!

Simmi : Saturday ko holiday, aur Sunday ko bhi!

Taani : That gives me an idea! Kyun na hum kahi camp karein?

Nilesh : Perfect! Aise time toh yahi karna chahiye!

Neha : But winter it is. Bahar kaise rahenge?

Vicky : Are, camping ke liye winter hi perfect time hai. Living in tents around a big bonfire!

Simmi : Right you are! Taani, hum aisa hi karte hai!

Everyone was very excited. With a great difficulty, Swayam calmed them down and asked, "Fine, but hum camp karenge kahan?" "Humare farm house pe!" Taani said. Swayam said, "What!" Taani continued, "I mean, hum itni short notice par kahin dur jaa nahi sakte. Humara farm house jyada dur nahi hai. Wahi camp karenge toh bahar hona ka feel bhi hoga aur agar koi emergency hui, toh ghar se dur bhi nahi honge!"

Rinni said, "Tumhara point toh sahi hai. Aisa hi karte hain. Kisi aur din puri planning karke dur jungle mein bhi camp out kar lenge!" Neha said, "Right saying Rinni and Taani are."

Swayam supported, "Taani, perfect plan hai. Aisa hi karte hai." Everyone agreed. Rey said, "Toh ek kaam karte hain, hum sab jakar apna saman lekar aate hai. Campig aaj se hi shuru karenge!"

Everyone left for their home to collect their stuff. Taani returned to the kitchen. Swayam followed her. He said, "Taani, tum seriously, abhi bhi sab ke liye khana banana waali ho?" Taani said, "Haan, kyu nahi?" Swayam smiled mischievously and said, "Ek kaam karo, jab gang wapas aayegi, tab sabko kaam pe laga do. Isi bahane, sab eksaath kuch karenge aur woh log cooking ke basics bhi sikh jayenge."

Taani turned to him and said, "Bhai, aap bol toh aise rahe ho jaise aapko cooking bahot achche se aati hai?"

"Of course aati hai!"

"Oh, really?"

"Really."

Taani steeped aside from front of the kitchen platform and said, "Toh aaj khana aap banao."

Swayam took a step back, "No way."

"Yes way."

"Taani, tum bhul gayi. Hum jab Jodhpur mein the tab maine cake banaya tha, tumhare birthday ke liye. What a big fiasco that was!"

"Haan, fiasco tha. Lekin tab aap 12 saal ke the. Obviously aap ko cooking ka C bhi nahi pata tha. Ab aap almost 2 years ke liye Mumbai mein akele reh rahe the, tab aap cooking sikh hi gaye honge!"

"Taani main khana nahi banana waala."

"Yes, you will."

"No I won't"

"Toh admit it. Aap ko cooking nahi aati."

"Okay, meri maa! Nahi aati cooking."

The door bell rang. Taani said, excited, "Aa gayi gang."She opened the door. When everyone was seated, Swayam asked, "So guys, what's the plan?"

Rinni got up said, walking around the coffee table in front of the sofa as she talked,"Nothing much. Hum aaj preparations karenge. As we all know, hum camping kal subah shuru karenge, aur parso evening end karenge. We have to make sure that we don't have to return to the house within this time unless it is a big emergency. Isse camping ka sense maintained rahega. Aur is liye hum sab kuch pehle se thik se plan kar lenge."

Rinni turned to look at the gang and found them all gaping at her. "What?" she asked. Everyone looked at each other and said, "Rinni aur itni planning aur sense! Unimaginable!"

Sharon said, "Okay guys, back to the point. What Rinni said is right, aur I think hume aise hi karna chahiye." "Right." Swayam agreed.

"Toh ek kaam karte hain, boys, aap sab jo saman lagega woh collect karo." Taani said. "Yes boss." the boys said. "Aur hum girls khane-pine ki arrangements dekhte hain." Taani added, winking at her brother.

So, that's it for now. I know, bahot chota hai par maine socha ki camp ki tayari aur camp ka start ek hi epi mein jyada exciting hoga padhne ke liye. So this epi ends here.
