Hi all. This is the most dificult post I've ever written here.
Jojo, I'm very uncomfortable with this picture. I know for sure that you did it in fun, but I wouldnt want my online pictures to be used in this way and I am not happy being a part of doing this to the pictures of someone else.
This is not about Saumya for me, this is about the individual's right to privacy and dignity. We all ooh and aah over Gaurav all the time and responded to his pictures quite explicitly, but he sent us those pictures..... there was a certain degree of consent involved. Even the pictures in the picture gallery are ok since no one has used technology to make them more suggestive. But to take any picture posted online and use technology to make it more revealing is something that i'm not comfortable with.
Jojo main yeh nahi kh rahi ke tumhara intention galat tha.... it has become so easy and so common to do these things that we have all stopped thinking about what we do. For eg. there are guys on this forum as well and they may get voyueristic pleasure out of the picture that you posted.Would you want that to happen to you? Would you want that to happen to Saumya?

Just for the record, I would be equally uncomfortable even if it were Gaurav's pictures instead of Saumya. I'm not saying that i'm some saint or that i expect people to be always covered up.... but i do think that whether people choose to expose or stay covered is their own decision. It should not be in the hands of anyone who knows how to operate the computer well.
Both Shahnaz and Fariha have expresssed their dislike of revealing clothes in other posts.... in real life i'm not like that... there are certain men and women who i see in revealing clothes with a lot of appreciation.... and yet here i am, uncomfortable with making someone wear revealing clothes.... becuase we never asked for their consent.... because it never occurred to us that this was an invasion of privacy too... you might say "Maione toh mazzak mein kiya tha, tum toh serious ho gayi" or "ise itna seriously mat lo yaar, its not your picture after all".

but what if it were to happen to any one of us?.... would we not be outraged then? would it seem funny to us then? would we be able to put emoticons of laughter to it, comment on where it is like our bodies and where it isnt and forget it as a funny post?
Finally, I'm not trying to act as the judge here.... not trying to tell you gals what you shoud do.... just seeing this post as a kind of wake up call for me.... defining what i find funny and what i don't. i reaised today that i cannot put an emoticon of laughter here.... i do not find this funny.

jojo, i'm sorry if my posts hurt you. that has never been my intention.

Yeah I respect other ppl's privacy too.If they're in the public eye doesn't mean they're public property. No offense meant for jojo here.
