That's a very pertinent question Mr. Asad Ahmed Khan.
What if, during this supposed facade, you do end up getting married to Zoya?
1.Your life shall never be the same again
2. Instead of shining utensils at the dining table, your family would actually be having a conversation.
3. Instead of hiding your face behind a newspaper, your ammi, wife and sister will be talking to you about the plans for the day, giving you a shopping list, teasing you about your honeymoon etc
4. Instead of thinking about moments lost since Rashid left you all, you would be creating moments of your own with your wife and family.
5. Instead of sipping coffee and reading boring books at night, you would be cuddling in front of a movie with your wife. While she oohs and aahs over the hot hunk on TV, you would be immersed in her fragrance, uttering sweet nothings in her ear, trying to distract her from the fictitious character on screen.
6. Instead of finding reasons to go to Zoya's room at one pretext or another, she will be in your bedroom at your service whenever you want to.
7. Instead of surreptitiously admiring her earring daily, you would have the whole woman to admire and make love to whenever you want to. You can buy more earrings for her and admire how they look on her.
8. Instead of Zoya accidentally walking in to your exhibition of six packs, she will have to make no effort to feast her eyes and neither would you have to pretend to be embarrassed.
9. Instead of tossing and turning in bed, dreaming about her all night, she will be right next to you every night.
10. Instead of trying to suppress your smiles, you will have the permission to laugh out loudly, without inhibitions. Did you know Mr.Khan, that's very good for your heart and health? Just pumping iron can give you the muscles, but a hearty dose of laughter would make sure your heart is able to pump enough nourishment to those starved muscles.
11. Instead of blaming Rashid for being the worst father in the world, your wife will give you a chance to be the best father in this world.
12. Instead of spending all your time with an electronic laptop, you will have more interesting things on your laptop.:)
13. Instead of seeing your ammi depressed in her memories of lost love, you will see the joy on her face when she is having a great time with her daughter in law or her grandchildren.
14. Instead of canceling overseas trips because you can't leave Najma and ammi alone, you can build your business further because your wife will be more than capable of taking care of your family.
15. Instead of worrying about how you might hurt Zoya, by marrying her, you will actually be making her the happiest person in the world.
16. Instead of leaving Zoya all alone in this world, you will give her the most loving family in this world.
17. Instead of imagining Zoya in sarees, you could have the joy of seeing her in a saree as and when desired.
18.Instead of dancing sensuously with her in your imagination, you could actually take dance classes together and practice at home every evening.
Phew'There is still such a long list.I can go on and on. Mr.Khan and you are still wondering whether you should get married to the woman you love?
So, will the nikaah happen?
There are enough positive forces that tell me nikaah will happen-
1.Ammi'the biggest force
2. Zoya and Asad'yes they both want it yaar. Just doing nautanki
3.Najma'..she can't wait to call Zoya 'bhabhi'
4.Ayaan'yes, he has always helped Zoya reach her destination and this time will help her get to the Jashne bahara and then perhaps on the nikaah day if Tanveer plays her evil tricks.
The negatives:
1.Tanveer- She doesn't want the nikaah to happen but tell me how many plans has she succeeded in?
2.Razia- Thank God for Badi B, Razia has no time to think about her husband's illegitimate daughter right now. I wonder if she is watching an illegal print of the Saif Ali Khan's movie right now, just so she can discuss it with Humeira.
