I know many are pacified with Asad's apology to Zoya yesterday but I wasn't.
I agree that he realized his mistake and came to apologize but Zoya was absolutely right. He doesn't hesitate to shout at her in front of everyone but says sorry alone.

And yes it was his guilt that drove him there only because Zoya had to PROVE herself innocent. He never gave her any benefit of doubt. Nothing. So was he sorry for what he said and how he said it? Or was he sorry that he was proven wrong about her yet again?
After knowing how Zoya operates now and the possible things that can go wrong, if he loved her wouldn't he TRY to prove her innocent?
If he respected her then wouldn't he have stayed to listen to her broken heart then try to amend his mistake?
He just walked away and for now, to me, his reasons are negligible.
Asad doesn't respect or trust Zoya yet - he is simply infatuated with her at the moment.
There has to be a catalyst/something on a grand scale that forces his rolled eyes open to see what he is doing.
He is changing (albeit slowly I agree) but why keep a log of all her follies at the tip of your tongue as ready arsenal to use against her? Hasn't she blurred all yours into the back ground? Does she bring up your nasty treatment to her everytime? Let's think on that, shall we Mr. Khan.
Besides the saugat he had gotten for her was before all this so his note - while beautiful and endearing - doesn't salve the tongue lashing he just gave her. It was a beautiful gesture but you don't caress with one hand and whip with the other.
A complex man you are Mr Khan but a taut guitar string can only be plucked so many times before it snaps.
