kranti and arnav knew they couldn't speak more and got down the car to be greeted with the bright
smiles of kushi and neetu
kranti immediately was pulled over and he was into welcoming the groom's side with his mom...
kushi was jumping with all the excitement in her face and the bharat slowly went in...
kushi turned to see arnav still standing near the car staring at her with confused eyes...
kushi tugged his arm: arnavjiii... what happened
arnav came back to his present: he swallowed the lump striking his throat... yeah i am coming
kushi... you keep going
kushi knew arnav hated rituals and stuff and so thought may be he din want to come...
kushi: ok i wont force you... but come in sometime for the wedding.. the muhurtham is at 10.. ok...
arnav slightly nodded watching kushi disappear amidst the crowd...
the words kranti said kept flashing in his mind... he had not even in the wildest dreams expected something like that...
he walked in slowly looking at kushi from far..

she was smiling and jumping with neetu
... how could she be this way?? i knew it affected her but soo much and yet she manages the smile...
i cared to always tell her about me... explain my side but what about her... what about the hurt she went through... i have known none...

arnav stood staring at kushi... the time was right for the wedding and the groom was puttin on the mangal sutra to the brides neck...
as all where immersed in blessing the couple crowding around them arnav's view was covered...
neetu saw kushi silently moving few steps back towards the window wiping out the silent tears that fell from her eyes...
neetu placed her hand on kushi's shoulder and the next minute she turned flashing a bright smile : i am fine neetu.. just
neetu nodded dragging kushi near the couple...
arnav could finally manage to see kushi again wishing the couple happily...
she turned calling over arnav to come near...
he obliged and walked forward wishing the couple...
arnav stood chatting with some people when kushi excused him from them dragging him near the dining hall...
arnav: what kushiii
kushi: arnavjii.. its 12 and the bidai is yet to happen and none will eat till then..you have this food and placed a plate in front of him
arnav: but kushii
kushi was being called and she rushed leaving arnav to help himself...
arnav felt a rush of guilt rising within him seeing her take care of him...
finally he finished his food and took his medicines and got out seeing the bidai happening there...
the ladies were all in tears and kushi neetu and preethi were the toppers of the show... kranti was teasing the groom vinay in all ways possible making the girls split into laughter through the tears...
just then arnav saw aarav walk towards kushi
aarav with a confused face: k why is everyone crying... they lost something
kushi bent down smiling at aarav
kushi: no my laad governor.. they are crying because they are happy...
aarav: why??
kushi: hmm.. see the princess is being taken by the prince and they are gonna live happily everafter.. thats why
aarav: then why are all others also crying
kushi: aarav... the princess is everyone's fav here.. so they will miss her na...
aarav: hmm when i become a prince i wont take my princess away...
i will take all of them.. then no one will cry na kushi and he smiled bright at her
kushi hugged aarav: hmm your princess is the luckiest
aarav innocently: kushi.. willl your prince also come and take you away soon??
she smiled at aarav asking him to go and play...
arnav closed his eyes with guilt remembering the past
and she ran to her room...
she took out a small box...
she opened the box .
she took out the mangal sutra clutching it close to her chest...
...and finally let her tears flow down...
the past came hitting at her again with aarav's question

arnav was in search of kushi and finally found her in her room... she immediately hid the box and wiped away the tears that were falling down..
. but she was late... he already saw the tears rolling down her cheeks...
he walked in placing a hand on her shoulder...
kushi: arnavjii... your here... you need something??
arnav looked at kushi into her eyes: i thought you needed someone kushi...
kushi: nothing like that arnavjii.. i was just and she started hunting for something around her...
arnav got up searching too for something...
she looked at him puzzled
kushi: arnavjii... what are you searching for
arnav: of course searching for what you lost kushi
kushi was puzzled.. she was just doing that to escape his eyes...
kushi: but what did i
arnav: your smile kushiii and looked straight into her eyes...
she wanted to run she wanted to hide.
From all the pain his looks caused inside
she wanted to scream, she wanted to cry.
that she was never able to bid him Goodbye
she wanted to move on, but she just can't let go.
she loved him more than he ever knew.
she wanted to start over, she wanted to feel free
But the pain seemed to never let her go!!
arnav placed his hand on kushi's shoulder bringing her out of the trance
he made her sit on the bed
arnav: kushi... you cant lie to me and you know that
kushi looked up
arnav: i...
kushi immediately knew he was feeling guilty... well if the wedding had haunted her why wouldn't it have hanuted him too and she din want to tell him that hurting him more
kushi: no arnavjii... its not your fault i am crying... its just that i was
arnav nodded: go on... just that
kushi: arnavjii... preethi will be leaving... i think we need to go...
arnav nodded:
but not before you find what you lost kushi
kushi smiled wiping her tear
arnav gave back a faint smile and watched her leave through the door...and lifted the pillow to see the mangal sutra lying there shining with the tear drops still covering it there...
he knew that behind that smile was a girl who lied for him so that he never felt guilty...but alas her brown eyes had failed in helping her so...
he walked out of the room wiping the tear that made way out from the corner of his eye

he saw kranti sitting in the bench of the lawn waving to arnav...

after a few minutes of general conversation...
arnav: kranti i am sorry!!! i just reacted that way coz i was shocked to hear that about her
kranti: thats perfectly fine arnav... its obvious for a friend... i would ahve fell off the car if i had heard the same being at your place
arnav: hmm ...
kranti got up and arnav followed as the two guys strolled out for a walk...
kranti: well how did you guys become friends
arnav smiled: hmm... well you know... she had joined Di's office and they used to come home for work...
neetu and i shared a sibling kinda bond you know and she also hit it out with my bro NK...
kushi and i were up fighting for something or the other... further since all were occupied with their couples we had no choice but to become friends coz we always had to land up together and he smiled
arnav knew it was a straight cold lie but he din want to complicate something kushi had never shared with her friends
kranti: wow thats a nice start... mine with her was a crazy scary start you know
arnav looked up slidding his hands into his pocket... he knew what was going to come.. but he wanted to know...
kranti: so it was one night when i was bored to death and i went over to take a walk around the lakes near the outskirts... i parked my car and sat insdie listening to the music gazing at the sight in front of me

she looked up as her legs hit on something... she had walked into BUS STOP... it was deserted with few ppl scattered... she found a empty bench away from the scanty crowd and settled down...
the past finally came dawning on her... she finally had under stood the reason behind every single confusion...
SHE HAD LOST HIM... LOST THE MAN SHE LOVED...
HE HAD THOUGHT SHE HAD HURT HIM... HE HAD THOUGHT SHE HAD BETRAYED HIM
HE HAD EVEN THOUGHT SHE HAD NOT LOVED HIM...
HE HAD THOUGHT OF EVERYTHING BUT NEVER ONCE THOUGHT MAY BE SHE COULD HAVE BEEN INNOCENT...
NEVER ONCE THOUGHT MAY BE IT WAS ALL NOT TRUE...
HE HAD EVEN GIVEN A CHANCE TO THAT SHYAM TO DEFEND HIS DEED AND HE EVEN BELIEVED HIM
HE BELIEVED HIM SO MUCH THAT HER LOVE FOR HIM NEVER WON.. IT WAS WITH EYES OF BETRAYAL HE HAD LOOKED ON HER WHEN EVERYTIME SHE HAD SEEN THE SAME WITH LOVE HOPING TO SEE IT SOME DAY FOR HER
HE HAD BELIEVED THAT SHE WAS CAPABLE... CAPABLE OF HURTING AND DESTROYING HIS DI'S LIFE...
HE HAD NEVER TAKEN A SECOND GLANCE AT HER EVEN BEFORE SHE HAD BEGGED HIM TO BELIEVE HER JUST BEFORE THE TRUTH WAS RELIEVED...
HE WAS SO STRONG IN WHAT HE SAW THAT THE MINUTE HE WAS WAITING TO PROPSE HE HAD FELT SICK FOR FALLING IN LOVE WITH A GIRL LIKE HER...
she let the tears fall down her cheeks
she saw the last bus arriving and walked in taking the seat by the window... she just asked for a ticket to the last stop and closed her eyes leaning against the window...
she sat there staring out as memories kept floating in her mind...she wondered what went wrong that her love for him never paid off...she remembered how she had taken the marriage just as a reason for his hate against rasams... she knew he hated her for some reason but she also believed the love she had seen in his eyes everytime she was hurt... she had always wondered how one night had changed evrything in her life shattering every dream...
he would ahev loved her if she stayed back.. she knew he would feel guilty... but would that be a bond of love... can shattered piece ever be put together without the cracks to be seen
it cant be right.. cant be right to live a love where trust was hardly present.. where proof was needed to prove the innocence , where her person who she loved with all her heart had failed to even know that she had one too till the truth was put in the open..
tears kept flowing... she couldnt bear to be away from him but now she knew it was not easy to be near him too...
his hurt had gone deep within her... too deep that her love for him too could not stop the bleeding wounds within her...
even the thought of him having misunderstood her sent shivers down her spine...
suddenly she felt a jerk and the bus had stopped mid way... it was a break down...
the passengers strolled down and were waiting for another bus...
she slowly strayed away and saw a lake nearby... she sat by the side under bench covering burying her face into her knees and crawling deep into herself crying her heart out
