After past couple of days of lukewarm romance, today was such a dhamaka! Just what the show needed... a jolt to kick start the story.
Supriya and Sanaya, our jodi, did a swell job today. Uma ben's switch in expressions from looking down on Purvi and Hitesh, to surprise and anger at spotting Manav, her growing temper with the ladies whispering, then final explosion on seeing and hearing CC and Simple was very subtly done. The nuances Supriya brings to dialogue delivery and facial expressions is amazing. Her performance was very controlled in a scene that could have become over dramatic if done by a lesser artist.
While Uma Ben had dramatic scenes and dialogues, Sanaya matched her in the confrontation scene. She could not get her word across, but just with facial expressions, and especially eyes, Sanaya conveyed what is going on in Chhanchhan's mind. Her face showed shock, confusion, fear, sadness all happening simultaneously without uttering a word.
Well done, heroes of our show, Supriya and Sanaya.
If we get more episodes like today, and the creatives tighten the screenplay and direction, they can entertain us. They promised a good family drama, and that is what I am expecting, and no matter what they show, romance, drama, comedy, it has to be engaging. IPL is ending and many new shows will be launched, so here is the chance to buck up. Good Luck Team Chhanchhan.
