- vidya small town girl (baneras)
- has a admirer who is a very bad man whose name is Harsh
- Vidya is illiterate because of her Chachi
- Vidya has her mother and a chahi who tortures her
- and she also has a cousin shalu !! shes hilarious
- then one day thakur family comes in search for a bahu
- vidya gets chosen over shalu her cousin so her chachi is mad
- thakur family's son is "mad" meaning his mind is just like an 8 year old
- he became like this after an accident 6 months before

Sagar's family
- chinu - nephew of family and shalu wants him now
- bharat sinduras son
- sindura - evil step sis #1 shes the main villian
- Mahua - evil step sister #2 shes the sindura sidekick #1
- chandra or chandramukhi - kinda evil step sis #3...she is nicer than the others

- sagar is the only child of UMA...the three evil stp sis's step mother

- sagars dad died on his wedding night after a heart attack because sindura said bad thngs about vidya to him
- sagars dad got vidya to marry sagar cuz he thought she could make him better which she is doing...
